I don't know when this was recorded, but Schumer negotiated away crucial Circuit court appointment for DIstrict court confirmations. Both a dangerous and cowardly deal.
Is he? I thought he was effective at appealing to donors. Let's not assume that the political class actually cares about the issues.
Nancy Pelosi was the leader of the house for one reason only. She was the conduit for the money. The money picks one person who will be subservient to them so they can use the money to keep the rest of their colleagues in line. She decided who got what and wielded that money like a cudgel. She obviously passed the baton to Hah Cream “Jeffin” Jeffries? I forget now. Point is Chuck is the Senate version of that as is Mitch Turtle McConnell for the republican Senate and the other twat Johnson for the house republicans. They’re not leaders because they’re STATESMEN “and women”. They’re leaders because they are the bag men “and women”. This is why we NEVER get true leaders with integrity and morals because people who move with integrity aren’t allowed anywhere near positions of power anymore. The system is now designed like a well oiled machine to push the worst among us and to weed out any people who seriously wants to do what’s best for the American people. America is an occupied country and the level of corruption has slid into a full blown occupation by globalist interests. The people who run America now from behind the scenes are completely detached from the interests of the citizens of the USA. The boot is on our necks now.
He can at least stop up Trump and be stubborn. It's the best we can hope for right now.

Term limits would be easier than adding judges. Even if we could add judges to the suprime court what do you think trump and the republicans with full control of the house and senate. Adding judges isn't the answer. Term limits and actual ethical accountability would actually address the issues.
@@prismpyre7653 This is not remotely true, an Act of Congress is not needed at all.
Right now the Supreme Court is woefully inadequate to cover the ever expanding country's federal circuit court districts, of which there are now 13 and expected to go to 15 to 19 in the next 30 years, especially if mass deportations force the need for another 3,000 to 5,000 immigration courts and their appellate bodies. There are only 9 justices, divided into 3 panels of 3 judges each to oversee 5 federal circuit courts each. This is unmanageable and the reason why the Supreme Court only hears a handful of cases per year, and often takes 2 to 5 years to do that, with only 1 or 2 fast-tracked cases per year. The wheels of justice move slow and are in danger of getting MUCH slower.
Nearly every time the Supreme Court has been expanded it was by the direction of the President through a Congressional Resolution.
Acts of congress are Laws that establish rules and procedures sometimes with punitive repercussions, punishments or fines, for not following those laws. An expansion of the Supreme Court would be done through the Congressional Budgetary Office, most likely, since it would add new personnel with new salaries. Acts of Congress could be passed making rules about the Supreme Court term length or limits or ethical rules and established procedures for their positions in the branch, but anything else would probably only need a resolution.
If it were desired to codify the exact rules and procedures by which the Judicial Branch of Government could, should, or would be expanded or disbanded, as well as any clarification on rules and procedures by which a Justice could be removed, or punished for misconduct, etc. that would be an Amendment to the Constitution, but since there is a vague framework, in the current Constitution, outlining how, who and when branches of government can be altered, a simple Congressional Resolution would be sufficient, and maybe even just an Executive Order. In fact, the Constitution does not specifically limit the power of expansion of any branch to Congress. It has long been established that the President can add new positions, branches, governing bodies, regulatory bodies, agencies, etc. to the government through Executive Orders.
Donald Trump, through several Executive Orders, added a new branch of the Military, reorganized many Departments: Agriculture, Interior, Commerce, etc., added new regulatory agencies and commissions, and he plans to add a new Department of Government Efficiency, as well as remove the Departments of Education, Commerce, Interior, Agriculture, and parts of the Department of Justice. Donald Trump has also promised to remove other agencies and commissions that monitor or regulate many of our social programs including, but not limited to, the Affordable Care Act and the parts of the IRS which manage this, Veterans Affairs, including the health care of our Vets, and he's promised to gut Social Security and Medicare and all the personnel which manage and keep those systems running for millions of Americans.
So, to say that it "takes an Act of Congress" to expand the Supreme Court is ludicrous, but I will say, if it should be found that this is another "law" made up out of whole-cloth by the existing Supreme Court without any basis in the Constitution, good. I don't need a President Trump thinking he can muck that up ,too.
I can almost GUARANTEE YOU that Trump will try to expand the Supreme court. And here they are with SOME power for another month and theyre sitting on their hands.

I do at least know that numerous districts in OK refused to play his video, stating they were going to focus on school curriculum instead of wasting time with the video. On a side note, I'm glad I decided to homeschool so my kid doesn't have to read the Trump Bible as required in K-12 grades and suffer in an underfunded school system. 🙃
