what are the signs of a bad control arm? mainly rear

Squealing knocking and grinding from front offside wheel on the way home, pronounced when turning slowly. Vibration at 40mph, and when braking. Goes away when braking hard. Need to do mine now. Hence the visit to YT. They've not done too bad, 130K on the original arms. 🙌🏻
