Definitely! We are not interested in that 3-knots difference between you guys. Do you know what REALLY matters? To show insights into those little nuances, practical habits and maintenance methods that make a professional - after thousands and thousands of repetitions and in the least steps possible. Like his stickering method, what strange but important bits he carries in his van, how he flips the board out of the van right into the mounting position on the turf, which warm-up practices really work before a hardcore session, what he wears and how he wears them (like the Liberty harness with the Free Fall hook), neck protection, feet protection, why do they avoid wearing sunglasses on races and how do they survive without eye protection, etc. And last but not least, rigging best practices, any small quirks like how he ties a rope or likes to position a harness line. After all, what he does differently to an amateur. Masterclass of beach chores and on-the-water tactics. Hell yeah!
Would be awesome to compare a few amateur windsurfers with pros to get a comparison of the relative skill and speed. It was awesome to see the jibes together and see the differences in the techniques between the two of you
Great footage! Since I almost broke my neck when crashing in the gybe (head snaps back when falling on my back, hitting the water and immediately stopping) I wonder what neck protection system Michele is using?
This video was a lot of fun. Nice to see you guys freesail, and have a good time. American accent was spot on. Great vibe. Here for more content like this. 🤙🏻
Interesting comment from Michele about being not so fast upwind. I always find it somewhat artificial that PWA racing is just downwind slalom. Back in the days it was also course racing, which was not so exciting to watch. But today with drones an foiling it probably would be exciting, maybe seeing floating tacks, different strategies going upwind...
Cruising around looks pretty but what would be really helpful would be to compare how the two of you pump up onto foil - similarities and differences...
Great video- You guys work well together, laughing and joking, it was fun to watch! You should definitely try your skills at a Pro event, if you can. You may find you can reach a new windsurfing level of skill.
Mario why not start with competing in the German foil championships. I think that was Michelle's last foil competition before he joined the PWA world tour. Might be less stressful to start and you are better than you think - you might be surprised at how well you do especially if you train a little ...and you could make videos about training for the competition !!!
I know what will be the next topic that everyone will want to know. What is the difference between foil and fins sails?Jhon Sukos drives with fins sails in the races and has no problem.
@@MarioKuempel yes, but we need to know why to invest in foil sails when we have fins sails. what will make us better. This is a good idea for a new topic. You have to shoot with both. UP WInd end Down wind test
I hope you enjoyed this video. Let me know if I should make a deeper analysis on why exactly someone like Michele is faster. Could be interesting!😄
Yes that would be interesting.
yes definately do a deeper analysis of what separates the pro foil racers from very good amatures this would be a great video
Absolutely 🤙🤙, like the tech stuff from foiling
I enjoyed to see the nerves before hand but the smiles after

Bravo Mario.
You should compete at plankton smankton place in northern Germany. Then I will help you with your gear some of the days
Ihr seid beide sooo gut - allergrösste Bewunderung natürlich für alle PWA Fahrer und Fahrerinnen - sie sind einfach von einem anderen Stern.
This one was nice! You do a good job when you are relaxed and stay humble!
Great very interresting !

👍😊☀️Sehr schön anzuschauen und anzuhören 🙂
I really enjoyed this video! 😁 keep up the good work Mario
Hi mario, it would be great if in a video you go in the factory to see how the board sail or even foil are manufactured
Happy ride with your friend and nice video! 😊
Mega Video, ich würde dich auf jeden Fall mal beim Worldcup sehen 😄

I really liked and enjoyed this video. Nice footage.
Great video! What sort of wings sizes you are using on the Patrik on such light day? Had a similar session yesterday on F4 with 560/190 :D
+1 for making a video that goes into what pros do different

to better put things in perspective, how much wind during the session?
We had 10-15 knots. :-)
How about participation on Pozo - Gran Canaria PWA in 2025 as amateur, Mario?

That was great and you should go to race in the pwa it would be great to see how good those guys realy are against a good amateur 😅
Schade das du keine Videos mehr auf deutsch machst .Gerade für den Einstieg in dem Sport so wichtig das man es versteht

What is finka sails?
@@MarioKuempel if you put an ordinary race sail on your foil board, you will not be better than the specialized one
@@KrisIvko-lx5lt of course, the difference is huge

Would be absolutly cool if you would be allowed to compete with the Pros in a race
