I’ve been following the glucose goddess And has helped me lose 15 lbs and I’m eating more desserts by following her hacks. It’s almost amazing how easy this is
Which hacks have you followed? What are you eating in a day?
I agree For lunch I tried the hack re the order in which food is eaten with a slice of Swiss roll two hours afterwards my sugar was 119.This is so easy!
Thank you so much for doing this! I just found out about the glucose goddess about a month ago and fell in love with her theories! I bought both of her books and I have lost 9 lb in 3 weeks! Also I'm able to control eating junk food much better now because I am a massive compulsive eater. So thank you so much for doing this test!
This works. Am 100 lbs overweight. Losing 1-2 lbs a week. Recipes in new Method cookbook are delish, easy, nutritious. At 75, feel better than I have for 15 years.
thanks for watching!
Bravo!! Good for you! I am new to the glucose goddess channel and after watching some of her videos I have already learned so much.
@@Emily_Paris Really educational are ones where she is being interviewed by CEOs, nutritionists, trainers, body builders, doctors.Usually 45 minutes to 1.5 hours.
Who is author of Method cookbook?
@@midlifemom5829 Glucose Goddess Method author is Jessie Inchauspe.
I've started reading the book, but breakfast should be all savory, no added sugar. But it's good to know the method does work!
@@heidibarragan5113 it absolutely does. The biggest thing I’m finding helpful is learning the difference of how the body processes these sugars. Processed fructose is a toxin that prevents 3 enzymes in the mitochondria that halts the production of ATP and prohibit the use of it. Just think, there’s so many chemicals in the food world that once it accumulates in our system…we get these conditions. So we are suffering from malnutrition. Not an illness.
It absolutely works. I lost 30lbs since January!
Would you mind posting after you have higher glycemic meal?❤
I will have to tell you that following the steps glucose goddess has set, knowing that I can still eat junk food or dessert by the time I'm done with my huge glass of apple cider vinegar water, my non-starchy veggies or salad, my healthy fats and protein, I barely have enough room to eat one cookie! But I can still eat the cookie without feeling guilty coming from an overweight mass of sugar addict this has been changing my life the last few weeks ❤
In the second graph It looks like you had a spike at the end of it?
I really appreciate this! Im obsessed with glucose goddess. I have severe non reactive hypoglycemia and I think her hacks of eating foods in order is helping me to need to eat less frequently. I am also recovering from an eating disorder and I am finding a lot of food freedom from how she talks about it being ok to have that slice of cake as part of your balanced meal. Im following her hacks for two weeks and had a doughnut as my carb for dinner last week and this which I would rarely allow myself. ❤❤❤
Happy for you! Won't the vinegar lower/kill the nutritional value of the food, just like it does to pickled vegetables? Also, how long before the meal should one drink vinegar- 5minutes before or few hours & what's the difference between both? Asking this, as I only drink ACV first thing in the morning & not again on that day. Also, when to eat fruits? TIA
Aww that's awesome 😎 I love having cake or a treat after my main meal knowing I get to enjoy without a big spike.
Sounds like she is enabling your sugar add!ction. 🙁
Good job on sticking to your schedule. We wouldn’t have these issues if these chemicals weren’t hidden in foods that are supposedly harmless to us. When dieticians point their fingers at us and say it’s our fault then why aren’t they advocating to stop making our foods so dangerous.
Which CGM you recommend thanks.
Why was there a massive spike at the end of the period shown? This makes me believe you still got the spike, but it was just delayed.
Can you share the acv tea recipe you did?
@@euqacjacque I don’t use brags as it’s now owned by Bill Gates and his Apeel will contribute to your condition. Fairchild is better. But 8oz glass of water, a tablespoon of ACV and I also add lemon juice and drink.
1 Tablespoon of ACV in a minimum of 8oz of water (the more water the better) , sprinkle of cinnamon and You can add some sweetener to your vinegar drink; choose a sweetener that doesn't impact your blood sugar, like stevia, erythritol, allulose, or monk fruit. Also, avoid sweet drinks like fruit juices.
Drink this 20min before a meal (if you forget you have a 20min window after).
I do something similar minus the apple cider vinegar….warm water and a few dashes of Ceylon cinnamon before a meal does keep your glucose from spiking, and I am plant based and peri menopausal and I tested my glucose the old fashioned way with finger pricks…
I know I have to be consistent, especially being peri menopausal to see weight loss, so this will be my new routine
@@shawnettaholloman2407 this is great. I had a chat with a 30yr experienced health trainer who said Ceylon cinnamon does work like what is said. She’s corporate trained. She needs re-educating on new discoveries. I tell anyone and everyone to use it in the drinks, shakes and coffee. It’s said that it’s natures Ozempic. Supposedly does the same except no side effects. That’s a win win. But remember, most of these hacks are directed toward type 2 diabetics. I’m finding that these hacks does help since diabetes is still raises questions as it still being learned. What’s been being done is that type 2’s are getting cured by diet. China has a faster cure by using stem cells recently found about 3months ago. I’ve always asked if stem cell regeneration would help and I’ve gotten more lip from those who have no idea what stem cells are. And now there’s a company stating that they’re on the verge of a cure for type 1. Only bad thing about this cure is 2 deaths have been recorded from these trials and it’s stated that it had nothing to do with the trials. I’m finding this hard to believe. To add to all of this, I’ve been working of different ways to stimulate stem cell regeneration and mitochondrial function improvements as well as we tire way to quickly. Nerve support to combat peripheral neurological issues. Amongst all of this, hoping to have all diabetics to come together in one room to share their stories and progresses. So we can move forward and beat this.
Would love to learn more about the monitor
If you have colitis, don't do ACV ever.
need your bicep hack
😂😂
Dip rack.
And shoulders tbh 😩
yes!!
On your first graph, the ending farthest point in grey shows decline. However the ACV graphs shows a spike going upwards in the grey area. How do you explain this? And isn’t it bad if your blood levels go up later?
Blood sugars in the 80s are not considered to be elevated levels. The level stayed in the 80s the entire time, despite tiny fluctuations.
You are right. That is a good point.
How long before do you need to drink ?
Thank you for doing this experiment! I’ve started implementing the GG hacks, and it’s great to hear you’ve measured and proved the ACV to be successful. 🍏
It really does work.
Do that for a Long Period and you will See issues in you stomach and your teeth due to an excess of acid.
Exactly. The acid + excess sodium offsets a lot of the health benefits.
I will be following! I love someone that actually tries what they are goving their opinion on verses just giving an opinion.
Just started week one and already feeling a difference.
can you try combining psyllium husk + ACV and see if it impacts it even more?
Good question. I'd like to know as well.
Thank you for posting your graph as proof. ❤
That bar proves nothing - as there's no date, no time on it - but one thing: something casued a smaller glucose spike. We only have anecdotal proof that she ate the same thing - and also, eating berries (you know: different stage of ripeness result in different fructose - eg. sugar levels) is far from an ogtt's strict testing protocol.
I'm not a doctor - and if it works for her, or for you: go ahead, and do it; but please refrain from referring to it as "proof".
It is about acetic acid, not a specific type of vinegar GG mentioned.
Exactly!
Would red wine have the same effect? GG in one video mentions that it doesn't have to be ACV... It would be great to test red wine versus ACV..
Girl, you’re jacked. Bravo!
Glucose Goddess is my fav. I’m a type 1 that gets hit with what is called the Dawn Phenomenon wherein spike in levels of 270 to 300 plus while being on a strict keto diet. And I also take insulin 4 to 5 times a day and one meal a day. 2yrs of being diabetic and doctors are stumped. I was diagnosed at 55 and I’ve haven’t been sick since 1978 with chicken pocks. Or was it the measles?!?! 😂
It’s from high stress hormones which adequate daily carb intake actually reduces and is shown to increase insulin sensitivity in diabetics. Glucagon, adrenaline, and cortisol increases to keep blood sugar from going too low. It increases gluconeogenesis in the liver so it pumps out more and more glucose. It’s a survival mechanism. At night we fast and our blood sugars drop naturally and stress hormones increase. But keto creates a higher need for stress hormones in general
Did her method help you to cut down insulin as a TD1? Did it improve your bs number and A1C as a TD1? Thank u
Most info found on diabetes is ongoing. Her approach have made understanding more simplified and can be done at home in simpler ways. I’ve used her approach and it does work. Yes, using vinegar in water prior to helps but remember type 2 is what most of these tricks are really made for. As I dibble deeper into this rabbit hole, it’s important to know what it is we are really dealing with beyond. There’s a noticeable change if you spike after an alkaline meal and the vinegar solution is taken 20 to 30mins prior to eating, the 30 to 33% reduction is quite noticeable. Before each meal I’ve not tried her products as of yet only because I’m finding other hidden pluses. But as I research, the biggest thing I’ve noticed is what’s missing in the process. Like what’s involved in the start up of this condition. What’s not looked at is chromium, magnesium, vitamin D, mitochondria supplements and neuro support.
@@az.az466 her method does work but insulin is a hormone that we take on a schedule doctors put us on. If we are to become insulin sensitive, shouldn’t we reconsider implementing a synthetic insulin that keeps our body either in the same status or even worsening it? Like taking steroids, it’s a hormone, taking it would make you stop producing testosterone over time. I’m doing one meal a day and some things don’t add up. Last 4 days I’ve gone hypo. CGM reading 46 at an hours time. I’ve reduced insulin intake considerably and it’ll go from hypo back to hyper. So I’m going to super strict. Not too sure that most cases are close to the same. But I’m seeking other alternatives.
Do you have to do the vinegar a long time before the meal or it doesn't matter?
The glucose goddess said to take it 30 minutes before a meal.
She said 10~20 mins before a meal
I saw the interview on TH-cam. The author said Vinegar. Is there something different we're not seeing?
Can anyone help with detail on this method … how to take the acv & when ie. how long before the meal. Thanks in advance.
in the Glucose Goddess videos, she says 1 TBSP ACV in a "large" glass of water, 30min before the meal. She doesn't say anything that I have found yet, about making a tea
Thank you so much. 🙏🏼
Do it for 3 months, checking your hba1c. 100-1 says it shows almost no difference..especially in those who do not have serious metabolic issues
Unfortunately for the world, this apple cider vinegar did nothing to combat that horrible over-exposure.
She did not say to drink tea! Your method is wrong! You should have used the right method with high carb food, not a low carb food! If you are going to share an experience with others, at least do it in the right way! Stop confusing people and spread wrong info! 👎👎👎
A glass of water with a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, warmed...this works for me.
Should have eaten a high glycemic meal to demonstrate if this works.
Did you dribk apple cider vinegar tea or apple cider tea. Those are.two different things.
The key is vinegar (1 tablespoon), any type.
I just started following glucose goddess and I’m obsessed lol. this video was an awesome confirmation of the ACV hack!
The chemical pealed face looks crazy with solar aged skin😢
Been following the plan / hacks for a week now have lost 5 pounds and feel amazing no cravings
Lost 5 pounds in a week?? Amazing! Do u have acv before breakfast lunch and dinner?
Also, it’s been a month :) lost more weight?
Wow!!
@@ijustwannacommentnotmyreal9814 My 75 year old system only tolerates 1 T. Vinegar a day. (More causes gushing waterfall urine elimination and a lot of resulting laundry 🧺 and cleanup on aisle 5). Ratio for me is 1 T vinegar in 32 ounces of water, which I SIP on throughout the day. It works for cravings and weight loss.
Some days I do lemon water instead.

Congrat for Glucose 85 !
Where did you get that tea cup??? It's so my style. I want it in my home
I’ve never seen up someone’s nose like that before
I gotta buy Anti-Spike!!!! It is gonna be so great!!! In the meantime, i have done the ACV in water thing, and iy works sooo fast to bring those sugars back down!!! thanks for sharing your video!!!
How much vinegar and cinnamon?
What’s with the spike afterwards?
If she exercised, that causes spikes as well.
@@Kinesiology411It’s quite the opposite. Exercise lowers blood sugar.

I wear a biosensor, too - I spike a little when I exercise, then taper off…

You should have had a candy bar instead of the coffee and creamer. They are equally the same to the body. Thanks for sharing
😂😂😂😂😂
that's not a spike 😂😂😂
What monitor is it?
I thought it could be normal vinegar
As apple cider vinegar is sweeter
The glucose goddess said any kind of vinegar will do . The acetic acid molecule is the key. She said to stay away from balsamic vinegar glaze, as it contains added sugar. Apple cider vinegar doesn't contain added sugar.
. Question: Does drinking ACV etc. have decaying acidic effect to teeth and the stomach??
RBF
Of course it works, lol. Donna Gates was telling people about this in the 90s. I like Jessie and her tips are genuinely helpful but none of it is news. Any fitness or nutritional professional should already know pretty much all of them. They're also baked into many Mediterranean lifestyles.
The commerical ultra processed foods that inundated the North America diet since the late 1970s has made people forget how our great grandparents ate naturally just be sure the food choices were much less processed and there were limited choices. Vinegary foods like pickles , sauerkraut etc and eating greens first at a meal was something my grandma born in 1902 did naturally. She was born in Hungary, no convenience foods so you are what the seasons provided except for self-canned food and preseves, these often contained vinegar or were fermented. Our old-world knowledge and practices were, like you said, 'baked in'. At least the Glucose Godess' scientific research and these CGMs are helping people understand how these traditional methods of eating work to keep humans from developing metabolic disorders like type 2 diabetes.
@@LILBIT-iyqeat what kind of greens ? Fresh salad greens or cooked or does it matter?
Is yoghurt plus a small quantity of buckwheat or any grain plus some nuts a good enough breakfast?
I cannot eat eggs in the meonign or fish, I kind of would throw up
I wish I saw this before I bought apple cider vinegar 🤦🏻♀️😁 Going to look for the tea!
By tea I think she means adding the apple cider vinegar in hot water
She just took warm/hot water, some ACV, added some cinnamon and mixed it, and poof, there's your tea. :)
Does that monitor use Bluetooth?
🤮
Cheer~~a simple sugar which is an important energy source in living organisms and is a component of many carbohydrates.😊
Wow nice muscles 😮
Thank you so much for this info! Excited to try this
Strawberries are not part of breakfast
Why not?
What about the acidity level? Doesn't vinegar by treating the glucose level affect badly something else?
My thoughts! I won’t drink that stuff!
@@simongarner5340 so true I tried the apple cider vinegar hack for a few days but my teeth became so sensitive - even with a straw the acidity got to my teeth.
You should dilute the vinegar with 12 oz. of water. (Glucose Goddess says a tall glass)
@@janeaustin6382 right, but still you take in this substance which contains vinegar :)
Use a straw and swallow.

Vinegar is a fermented grain alcohol, left to ferment. Any type of alcohol, really.
Could be made with fruit, grain or starchy vegetables.

I am curious if these hacks are for diabetics? I was curious and bought a Libre sensor. Yesterday I ate 3 Krispy Kreme doughnuts and a tall glass of orange juice after my Thai chicken curry and Pad Thai lunch, my blood sugar never spiked above 137 and back down to 94 one hour after lunch and stayed around 88-90 until I ate some more snacks. I am 57 by the way, non diabetic
They are for both diabetics and non diabetics! In the book, there are several hacks for everyone, but having the blood sugar constant is especially good for diabetics. But if you have diabetes, check with your doctor.
Well, every body is different and sometimes we have good and bad days. It really depends on multiple factors.
They are for everyone. Jessie is particularly interested in helping those with diabetes and insulin resistance to heal from those issues.
@@simongarner5340 I agree. It appears that they want to make everybody a patient. Yes we should eat good healthy food but I refuse to eat like a sick person
@@simongarner5340 Because they influence our health as well. Based on our diet we can have bigger blood suger spikes than what is perceived as the line for diabetes. And over longterm this can cause diabetes.
