      @@heidibarragan5113 it absolutely does. The biggest thing I’m finding helpful is learning the difference of how the body processes these sugars. Processed fructose is a toxin that prevents 3 enzymes in the mitochondria that halts the production of ATP and prohibit the use of it. Just think, there’s so many chemicals in the food world that once it accumulates in our system…we get these conditions. So we are suffering from malnutrition. Not an illness.

    I do something similar minus the apple cider vinegar….warm water and a few dashes of Ceylon cinnamon before a meal does keep your glucose from spiking, and I am plant based and peri menopausal and I tested my glucose the old fashioned way with finger pricks…
    I know I have to be consistent, especially being peri menopausal to see weight loss, so this will be my new routine

      @@shawnettaholloman2407 this is great. I had a chat with a 30yr experienced health trainer who said Ceylon cinnamon does work like what is said. She’s corporate trained. She needs re-educating on new discoveries. I tell anyone and everyone to use it in the drinks, shakes and coffee. It’s said that it’s natures Ozempic. Supposedly does the same except no side effects. That’s a win win. But remember, most of these hacks are directed toward type 2 diabetics. I’m finding that these hacks does help since diabetes is still raises questions as it still being learned. What’s been being done is that type 2’s are getting cured by diet. China has a faster cure by using stem cells recently found about 3months ago. I’ve always asked if stem cell regeneration would help and I’ve gotten more lip from those who have no idea what stem cells are. And now there’s a company stating that they’re on the verge of a cure for type 1. Only bad thing about this cure is 2 deaths have been recorded from these trials and it’s stated that it had nothing to do with the trials. I’m finding this hard to believe. To add to all of this, I’ve been working of different ways to stimulate stem cell regeneration and mitochondrial function improvements as well as we tire way to quickly. Nerve support to combat peripheral neurological issues. Amongst all of this, hoping to have all diabetics to come together in one room to share their stories and progresses. So we can move forward and beat this.

We only have anecdotal proof that she ate the same thing - and also, eating berries (you know: different stage of ripeness result in different fructose - eg. sugar levels) is far from an ogtt's strict testing protocol.

And I also take insulin 4 to 5 times a day and one meal a day. 2yrs of being diabetic and doctors are stumped. I was diagnosed at 55 and I’ve haven’t been sick since 1978 with chicken pocks. It’s from high stress hormones which adequate daily carb intake actually reduces and is shown to increase insulin sensitivity in diabetics. Glucagon, adrenaline, and cortisol increases to keep blood sugar from going too low. It increases gluconeogenesis in the liver so it pumps out more and more glucose. It’s a survival mechanism. At night we fast and our blood sugars drop naturally and stress hormones increase. But keto creates a higher need for stress hormones in general

      Most info found on diabetes is ongoing. Her approach have made understanding more simplified and can be done at home in simpler ways. I’ve used her approach and it does work. Yes, using vinegar in water prior to helps but remember type 2 is what most of these tricks are really made for. As I dibble deeper into this rabbit hole, it’s important to know what it is we are really dealing with beyond. There’s a noticeable change if you spike after an alkaline meal and the vinegar solution is taken 20 to 30mins prior to eating, the 30 to 33% reduction is quite noticeable. Before each meal I’ve not tried her products as of yet only because I’m finding other hidden pluses. But as I research, the biggest thing I’ve noticed is what’s missing in the process. Like what’s involved in the start up of this condition. What’s not looked at is chromium, magnesium, vitamin D, mitochondria supplements and neuro support.

    • @dkwalker518
      @dkwalker518 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@az.az466 her method does work but insulin is a hormone that we take on a schedule doctors put us on. If we are to become insulin sensitive, shouldn’t we reconsider implementing a synthetic insulin that keeps our body either in the same status or even worsening it? Like taking steroids, it’s a hormone, taking it would make you stop producing testosterone over time. I’m doing one meal a day and some things don’t add up. Last 4 days I’ve gone hypo. CGM reading 46 at an hours time. I’ve reduced insulin intake considerably and it’ll go from hypo back to hyper. So I’m going to super strict. Not too sure that most cases are close to the same. But I’m seeking other alternatives.

      The commerical ultra processed foods that inundated the North America diet since the late 1970s has made people forget how our great grandparents ate naturally just be sure the food choices were much less processed and there were limited choices. Vinegary foods like pickles , sauerkraut etc and eating greens first at a meal was something my grandma born in 1902 did naturally. She was born in Hungary, no convenience foods so you are what the seasons provided except for self-canned food and preseves, these often contained vinegar or were fermented. Our old-world knowledge and practices were, like you said, 'baked in'. At least the Glucose Godess' scientific research and these CGMs are helping people understand how these traditional methods of eating work to keep humans from developing metabolic disorders like type 2 diabetes.

    I am curious if these hacks are for diabetics? I was curious and bought a Libre sensor. Yesterday I ate 3 Krispy Kreme doughnuts and a tall glass of orange juice after my Thai chicken curry and Pad Thai lunch, my blood sugar never spiked above 137 and back down to 94 one hour after lunch and stayed around 88-90 until I ate some more snacks. I am 57 by the way, non diabetic

    • @ananym7594
      @ananym7594 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They are for both diabetics and non diabetics! In the book, there are several hacks for everyone, but having the blood sugar constant is especially good for diabetics. But if you have diabetes, check with your doctor.
      Well, every body is different and sometimes we have good and bad days. It really depends on multiple factors.

      @@simongarner5340 Because they influence our health as well. Based on our diet we can have bigger blood suger spikes than what is perceived as the line for diabetes. And over longterm this can cause diabetes.
