I feel like this episode had a lot more personality and sort of goofy bloopers, which makes it feel not as overproduced as your usual stuff. This is a direction I support, really liked this one!
Steve talking about how he looks bummed but is really just THINKING SO HARD is why I love hyperspace hobbies! It’s been a great confirmation that Steve has resting grumpy face when he’s in TACTICAL MODE
OMG, my wife used to get so mad at my blue deck. Deny deny deny while I build my mana. THen start stealing her stuff and hitting her with it. I can see why it frustrated her. But it was fun to play. I offered to let her try it...
After all that bloodshed, all the horrible saves, feel no pains, wounds and desperate scrambles for points, it comes down to 7 points on the final round. Damn that was a good game!
That was a phenomenal game so close. Steve really played that detachment Taak I am always cheering for you because you are a great player and show great sportsmanship, win or lose.
Great game, it is so hard to see Anvil Siege Force games. This game was super close. Lucky and unlucky dice rolls on turn 4 swung that. But super close. Steve PLEASE play this army more.
This was one of the best videos I’ve seen your channel, great strategies, amazing humor, great special effects, and phenomenal paint jobs. Thank you to everyone involved!
Insane bravery has to be used in the battle shock step of your command phase. Those scouts would have had to roll for it when they came on the field, not that it would have changed anything. Great game! One day I hope to see a Steve victory!
In the future we won't play using the strat outside of the Command Phase. Luckily, as you indicated it didn't change the outcome and thank you for letting us know.
By far one of my favorite videos. The imperial fist and white scar list was amazing. Their battle was dope as hell too. Ya gotta, love the top Tier generals as well; very fun to watch and learn from.
Tak: what colour’s your Biologis? Steve, where’s my Biologis? Steve: the important thing here, is that I treated your mode with respect What a great opening to the BatRep. And it actually impacted the outcome of the game as a model. Hilarious!
The Speedy Spear vs the Sustaining Shield of the Imperium. Love it! So much back and forth and the first turn may seem wasteful but in retrospect it felt strategic. Love them CP.
I like the chance of seeing the list on screen displayed like that in the intro 👍 I know you've always put it in the description too but still. Nice extra touch
SPOILER>>>>>>>> That unit that dropped around @33:44, I think even though it scored some Oath of Moment points, it may end up by the end being more about removing that unit's firepower and ability to hold an objective. Hmmm. Always interesting when something drops, isn't it?
What an amazing game. One-sided dominations are fun sometimes, but I really love when a game comes down to literally the last possible roll of the dice. And I absolutely loved that turn one. Maybe boring to look at, but the tactical mindset is just 👩🏻🍳💋. Gotta respect the restraint.
When l started my WS in 9th, the lore about them was thst they would rather off themselfs , then become a dreadnought. They had bikes everything, the thing that made me like them. And they looked like Tatar, which is my people.
Really loving this board! Nothing wrong with a neoprene gaming mat, but the floor tiles and the industrial terrain just look so much better and cooler.
This was SOOOOOOO close for Steve and legit came down to a single dice roll, feels SO bad! But they both played great, there were shenanigans to go around for everyone lol.
What a great show. I’ve been watching for years but, it’s become really well done! The backdrops, the dice cam, showing the active unit, the fire effects….❤❤❤❤
Oh my gosh what a game. Those opening turns were hilarious metagaming. I laughed out loud. (SPOILERS) I was so hopeful the Imperial Fists were going to give Steve a much deserved win, but the White Scars ride off into the sunset with swift secondaries. Maybe next time my fellow Sons of Dorn!
"how am i supposed to chew through a ten man squad of heavy intercessors?"
"you're not and that's the point"😂😂😂
Sons of Sanguinis Detachment Assault Intercessors, "You're not?"
"That's the neat part...you don't! "
@@chief_critical5318i can almost imagine an Imperial Fist having his mustache.
The 60 Heavy Intercessor Build needs to be done.
So...much...Gravis...
Everyone: Imperial Fists go first!
Imperial Fists: No
Defenders go second.
If you're wearing a large ring it might hurt
I feel like this episode had a lot more personality and sort of goofy bloopers, which makes it feel not as overproduced as your usual stuff. This is a direction I support, really liked this one!
yep this felt like a throwback to the beginnings!
its free ill watch lol
we call this "entertainment"
This has gotta be the funniest game of 40k in 40m ever, I love how steve just completely turtled turn 1 lmao
Steve talking about how he looks bummed but is really just THINKING SO HARD is why I love hyperspace hobbies! It’s been a great confirmation that Steve has resting grumpy face when he’s in TACTICAL MODE
I am so glad that he clarified so I can be at ease when I watch him play
Watching it, I also felt Tak was concerned that Steve was getting bummed out, so he tried harder to be supportive. That's nice.
"He doesn't know what to do, because im being DIFFICULT!"
I have a hunch Steve plays Blue/White in MTG as well.
MTG? What's that?
OMG, my wife used to get so mad at my blue deck. Deny deny deny while I build my mana. THen start stealing her stuff and hitting her with it.
I can see why it frustrated her. But it was fun to play. I offered to let her try it...

FINALLY Imperial Fists!!! ✊🏿
Why are you using the Salamander fist instead of the yellow Imperial Fists? 🤔
FINALLY TAK!!!
@@harrywebster500 it's a joke about salamanders skin color
Please do more Imperial Fists. They are amazing. Absolutely love to see them on the channel.
Rogal Dorn approves
I think this may have been the funniest 40k in 40m ive ever seen!
Im only 5 minutes in but I feel like the narrative for this battle is Tak is Attacking Steve to get his Companies Beloved Apothecary Back.
So excited! You guys should do a. Grey Knights battle as well. It would be the first one in 10th that you guys would do😄
I've watched Tabletop Tactics and their videos, I can confirm that a Gray Knights battle would be awesome for Play On
I second this. Put my bois on the table
Vs admech
Another vote for GKs
They tend to avoid using the most overpowered armies at the moment.
After all that bloodshed, all the horrible saves, feel no pains, wounds and desperate scrambles for points, it comes down to 7 points on the final round. Damn that was a good game!
That who goes first roll was a roller-coaster of emotions
Tac out here representing the Khan well! Great game guys!
6:04 Amazing to see steve in his element. Even when he rolls high he has a bad roll
That was a phenomenal game so close. Steve really played that detachment
Taak I am always cheering for you because you are a great player and show great sportsmanship, win or lose.
Great game. Hang in there Steve. You were looking really strong. Played the Fist so flavorfully!
Great game, it is so hard to see Anvil Siege Force games. This game was super close. Lucky and unlucky dice rolls on turn 4 swung that. But super close. Steve PLEASE play this army more.
Kudos to the editor for tasty metal riffs 🤘
One of my favorite games so far. Love the all Gravis army!
Steve: OUR biologus
Thank you for playing imperial fists they are my favorite chapter.
This was one of the best videos I’ve seen your channel, great strategies, amazing humor, great special effects, and phenomenal paint jobs. Thank you to everyone involved!
Thank you! We had a lot of fun producing this one and glad you liked it
LOL! This game was awesome and funny. The fists gotta have their safety meetings!
Lol that first Turn played like how i play my strategy games, just turtle and let the enemies grind themselfs on my defenses
The speedy boys VS the heavy boys, this fight will be legendary
Steve's hat is epic 😂
Insane bravery has to be used in the battle shock step of your command phase. Those scouts would have had to roll for it when they came on the field, not that it would have changed anything.
Great game! One day I hope to see a Steve victory!
In the future we won't play using the strat outside of the Command Phase. Luckily, as you indicated it didn't change the outcome and thank you for letting us know.
Man I love Tak vs Steve games! So much fun banter and you can see how much they enjoy playing against each other!
3:50 Bro did not just do that 😂
He just kidnapped him
I know there desperate for geneseed but dam...
By far one of my favorite videos. The imperial fist and white scar list was amazing. Their battle was dope as hell too. Ya gotta, love the top Tier generals as well; very fun to watch and learn from.
I was not expecting a Finding Nemo reference, followed by Steve wearing Finding Nemo merch.
Anyone else think the matches with Steve in are the most entertaining 👍
Excellent report! Both played expertly and when the dice swung in round 4 you could feel the game move with them
When I saw Marine v Marine I thought this would be boring.
Boy was I wrong!!! Well played you two, real nail biter!!
Thank you for watching! Glad we were able to make the matchup work
One of the best games I’ve seen since learning about this channel.
This was the most exciting roll for first initiative I've seen in a while.
That Kor'sarro Bike Chaplain kitbash looks surprisingly good
That was the silliest thing I've seen on this channel so far and it was awesome!
OH MY GOSH! You guys post the best games, seriously. Much love and respect from our house to all of you.
WOW! That was FANTASTIC! Well played Tak and Steve!
That was EPIC! Brilliant game, well played to both Steve & Take. Thanks again for another great evenings entertainment . 👍
A sad day for the Sons of Dorn, but well played on both players part! Congrats to the victor, condolences to the defeated, and keep up the good work!
The battle of the underdog detachments. Stormlance doesn't do much outside of Space Wolves.
That first turn was hilarious 😂 Loved this game 👏🏻
Tak: what colour’s your Biologis? Steve, where’s my Biologis?
Steve: the important thing here, is that I treated your mode with respect
What a great opening to the BatRep.
And it actually impacted the outcome of the game as a model. Hilarious!
Yalls background music selection is impeccable
21:17 what is that dust plume made from? It looks great. Just cotton?
It is cotton. Stretched out and then texture paint was used to strengthen it and put it into position. Air brushed on some colour and there you go!
"Look at my hat" made me almost spit out my food 😂 Y'all are great fun!
great painted terrain, models, games and production.
Nice extra touch
i swear you guys make the best content - this is the gold standard for battle reports
A very interesting game. I have never seen going second mean so much. A nice display of different tactical philosophies.
What an action-packed first turn! 😂
It was a real slobberknocker
SPOILER>>>>>>>>
That unit that dropped around @33:44, I think even though it scored some Oath of Moment points, it may end up by the end being more about removing that unit's firepower and ability to hold an objective. Hmmm.
Always interesting when something drops, isn't it?
That imperial fist army is so damn close what I've built. Sadly still not gotten a game with it yet, so looking forward to seeing how it goes. 🤞
Thanks Steve for playing the Yellow bros so well ❤
Great game, really enjoy watching Tak get the scars out on the table. Hai Chogoris!
Man is fun watching steve and I really love his new army
My two favourite Founding Chapters, with two great players! Really fun watch.
Ordu Gamana Jaghatai!
6:05 "All i need to do is roll poorly"
Unfortunately steve did not realize that "poorly" means "bad for the current situation" not "always roll low".
“I just need to roll poorly” is still so bloody funny 😂
Two of my favorite players to watch. That was an interesting game. Would love to see more Necrons in the future.
Tak really started stacking bodies at the end.
Pineapple surprise, Tak is on a roll tonight. LOL
i am glad you guys make this video slower than the other recent videos 😂
That "look a-, look at the hat!" At 9:09 Had me dying
So that's how you make anvil siege force work. GRAVIS.
LETS GO TAK!!!
Ah the 2nd Best Legion with Mounted units vs the 3rd best Sons of Dorn.
So sad for steve cause this was such a NICE game. Lots of fun and strategy! definitely dices tells stories!
I loved Steve first move lol
There's a Tau player who loves Pirahnas that I've done this to as well, just to make him undo his scout moves.
When l started my WS in 9th, the lore about them was thst they would rather off themselfs , then become a dreadnought. They had bikes everything, the thing that made me like them. And they looked like Tatar, which is my people.
47:39 nice
These video are always the best ngl best battle report chanel on youtube
Some people don't think dice be like it is ... but it do.
Oh MY GRAVIS BATMAN!! This was so much fun!
steves army is like mcdonalds security forces in space. I'm lovin it.
Even on top of all the entertaining rolls and highlights, best part of this match... Not yet another Ultramarines list. Great to see other chapters!
Steve's hat game is on point.
Very excited to see this. I hope to see a resounding Space Marine victory!
Really loving this board! Nothing wrong with a neoprene gaming mat, but the floor tiles and the industrial terrain just look so much better and cooler.
Dice tell stories. And in some paragraphs today, Tak's were writing "we are napping, roll again later".
Brutal luck.
The two hardest legions to paint… lamenters v harlequins next?
DIAMONDS VS CHECKERS
There were some incredibly excellent plays here, especially in the early game, but in the end, the dice decided the game.
As a Deathwatch player who just finished an all-gravis force, love seeing this Imperial Fist list!
This was SOOOOOOO close for Steve and legit came down to a single dice roll, feels SO bad! But they both played great, there were shenanigans to go around for everyone lol.
I'm just gonna jot down "pineapple surprise" to use for later.
Such a tight game. Love the turtle style with gravis armor
I have been waiting for a battle report on imperial fists especially the primaris marines
Round 1 was super funny!
So much tension in the "who goes first"
It's hard, Imperial Fists are my favorite Marines, and Tak is my favorite player.
What a great show. I’ve been watching for years but, it’s become really well done! The backdrops, the dice cam, showing the active unit, the fire effects….❤❤❤❤
Thank you for watching through the years and following our progression. We hope to continue to improve and bring entertainment for years to come
Imperial fists having a safety meeting…..LOL too funny, man. Too funny, LOL.
Awesome game fellahs. One of my faves for sure.
37:24 I saw Tak knock that terrain over. You cannot hide
