I got mine PS5 finally today, I signed up for basically a lottery in my local version of Wall mart months ago and finally during this restock I was picked :D It's close to impossible get one here as our retailers only get a few dozen units per restock due to being a middle size EU country. I was able to get one from PlayStation direct last week. After trying for months. The wait time was one hour then after about 5 min it jumped down to less than a minute. Somehow I think I glitched in haha.
It wasn't a glitch. I also got mine from PS direct invite as well. My wait time went from 1hr to 25min and I was able to buy one. So you got lucky to only have to wait for approx 5min to order one. My co-worker advised me as he also got his the same way. As long as the wait time drop quickly from 1hr to whatever time to wait, then your chance of ordering one is very good.
