Whenever a villager you wanna stay wants to move out then skip a day and log in, the thought bubble transfers to another villager. I learnt this from TagBackTV. Also, sometimes it has a 1 day cooldown.

Just so you know:
After somebody wants to move and you say no, it will be set on a five day timer until somebody wants to move
I wish I knew that sooner because a purple ugly squirrel moved in called Statics 😔
Not the case for me I had a villager want to move out the day after someone else wanted to move out
I actually had a villager ask to move four days after moving someone out, so it can be even earlier than that. Most of the time, it takes me at least five to seven days to wait for another villager to have the moving out bubble, just like you said. 🙂

It's also been data mined that after 15 days, there's an 80% chance every day that a villager will want to move out. Data mine says your most recent villager will not move out and chances for everyone else to ask is based on friendship in a math equation.

@@kinda_emily the code actually says that the most recent villager moving in cannot ask to move out so people have to be remembering who their last villager is wrong because no game will do something against its coding unless it glitches or a game is hacked.
@@thecheezitfaerie Nope, didnt remember my most recent villager wrong. Was villager hunting a couple weeks back and found Vivian. Invited her to my island, she moved in. Decided I wanted to kick Pietro because of reasons so I started doing the time skip trick. The first day Sherb wanted to move on the second day, I kid you not Vivian wanted to leave....I was confused because I too thought your most recent wouldn't move. So, either the data mine may be flawed or the game is glitched
Tbh I think that rule is stupid. That implies you'll NEVER be able to get rid of that villager until you move out someone else (Not counting amiibo method here) which you may not want to do.
I have always had my most recent villager ask to move first. I thought it was a mechanic in case you didnt like your newest villager altera a few days. This has happened more than six times in a row for me

I have kicked out around 12 villagers and this is the best method(Time travel )
.Skip 8 days
.Go and talk to all the villagers you want to keep
.Then skip 7 more days( for the 15 days)
Run around to see if a villager has a thought bubble if so then go back to the real date
.If not skip a day each until there is a thought bubble and then go back to the real date
.Finally skip day by day until the villager you want to leave asks.
.Tip: before looking if they have a bubble go and look if they are inside if so go to the next day.
This method typically takes me about 10 minutes. I hope this helped.

How I kick out my villagers is I take bamboo lattice fencing and put it all around the villager I want to moves house and then I close the game and don't play for the rest of the day, then the next s
Day that villager would be stuck inside the fence around their house and the only other place they can go is inside their house. I skip ahead about a month, at days at a time. And keep checking on them until they have a thought bubble above their house. Ti make them leave faster I move their house away from everybody else and I don't talk to them unless there is a bubble.
People always say that you can't kick out your most recent villager, but Eugene asked me like a day after he moved in if he could move out 😅
A day is a bit of an exaggeration, but he was the first to ask if he could move out right after he moved in lol
Omg I was wondering why I couldn’t kick out the villager I accidentally told to stay. I actually had someone ask me during this video and I just told her to stay so hopefully he’ll get the bubble whenever the bubble comes back. Honestly, might time travel to rid my island of his curse.

I wanted to share something with y'all from my own personal experience with moving out villagers.
When I recently attempted to move out Greta over the course of a few days (I don't time travel btw), my most recently added villager at the time, Merengue, actually did have the moving out bubble passed around to her...and not once, but twice. So I don't know what the heck is the deal with that datamine that said the most recent addition couldn't move out. 🤨

I asked hopper to stay (just to get rid of someone else) and skipped throughout 15 days by pushing him and he was the only one that had a thought bubble. So kicking out ur most recent villagers isn’t impossible don’t lose hope!
I was gonna try to get out Peck but his birthday is July 25th so I decided to wait till afterwards bc I would feel bad 😭. But Rodeo is leaving my island so I’m gonna try to get stitches 😁
Everytime a villager asks to leave, if you say no, then it will be 5 days before someone asks to move, if you say yes, then it will be 15 days until another one wants to move.
easy way to see if someone wants to move, check around the plaza and they're house !

Another good way to kick out villagers is to skip a month and and a day then go in and save. Then go back a month and go in day by day to see if the person you want to leave wants to leave.
One of the villagers i got to move in left after like 2 weeks so the most recent villager not wanting to move out is not 100% ture because i found rolad on a island tour and invited him to livw on my island and i gave him gifts and things and with in 2 weeks he wanted to move out and no one else want to move out before him or anthing like that. So the most recent villager can be the one to want to move out. Its just really random
I wish there was just an option to just ASK them yourselves to move. The game becomes less fun when you have villagers who you don’t even like
something i found, idk if its true or not...: lets say there is someone with a thought bubble about moving on june 8th, then you time travel two days later, to june 10th. ignore june 9th because no one will have a thought bubble on june 9. there is like a one day break between when the thought bubble might occur.

I have had 2 villagers autonomously move on my island. No one has come to my campsite and I haven't gone to random islands to invite villagers. It is so annoying that I didn't get to choose.
Ugh, I feel your pain. I went through that with Groucho. Someone I never wanted in the first place because I dislike Cranky villagers. It took me quite a while to get rid of him. I decided to chat with him only but I wouldn't really start a conversation, but then, I ended up swatting him with my net and he got mad at me. I felt so bad for doing it but I was only doing that so it could help me more on getting rid of him. Then, I time-skipped 1 month and 15-16-17 days I wanna say, then went back. While I was picking up the weeds around my island, I saw Groucho thinking and I instantly went to him and he moved out. Afterwards, I went village hunting for Sherb (I never got him) so I ended up finding the next cutest animal and it was Alice. My little baby. She's adorable. Honestly, the whole process is stressful but if you want to deal with weeds, it's best to get a villager or two off your island, pronto.
you can kick out your most recent villager, but it’s the hardest because they’re the least likely to want to leave.

Malicious Grape unfortunately you cannot have a villager move to your island if you don’t have a plot, I tried it myself for my cousin and it didn’t work😕
Thank you!!! I've been trying to get hamlet off my island for AGES. He was my first villager and never wanted to leave, got him out on the 3rd try! Then skipped 3 days ahead so he left, went on a dreamie hunt and found Judy on my 2nd ticket!
if you accidentally told someone to stay when trying to kick that villager out, you can close the game fully since it haven’t been autosaved yet (it saves the game every 5 minutes), go back into the game and the same villager should have the bubble above the head again. I done this mistake before and closed the game in panic but it worked when I reopened to get someone to leave
i just wanna throw this out there; it definitely could happen that your most recent villager can move out. it was datamined that it isnt possible, but there have been many people who stated otherwise. it is totally a possibilty that your most recent villager can ask to move out, just an extremely low chance is what i would say. even the person who datamined this info, confessed that it might not always play out how they expect it to. meaning, that its not always true your most recent villager will not be able to be kicked out.

I accidentally told Bianca to stay and I got her out without saying no to anyone else. I always quit instead of telling them to stay so the “last person you say no to wont ask” is def not true for anyone wondering
Tips if you have a campsite villager that you want to move in they will mostly pick the personality you have most of and the same for moving out the villagers mostly the personality you have most of will want to move. When doing villager hunts and getting more than one villager if you picked one personality for your 1st you won’t be likely to have that personally for your 2nd that day unless you time time travel. Happy villager hunting!!

If you say stay on your island to a villager it will cause a five day delay until another villager can move out so you are doing it right

If you have someone with a thought bubble that you don’t want to have a thought bubble and you want someone else to move out all you have to do is let them say the first thing they go to the exit of the game without saving go tomorrow and someone else will have it it might repeat that person but if you do that one more time it will turn to someone else
