- Easter 2021. I Make 2 Guyanese Kites. One 30 inch And one 15 inch. and we went to the park to fly them on Easter day. I Got The Materials to Make The Kites At The Home Depot And Party City.

Actually they kytes normally have frills both sides it helps flying easier if you can remember in Guyana the way kytes were made. Happy Easter

Greetings to you Azim and family. First time seeing a kite being flown with a fishing rod. Kkkkk That's inresting, although it's not our Guyanese tradition. I do hope that Guyanese are watching and learning. Back in Guyana we put stripes o cloth on the tail to make it look more attractive. Or sometimes razor blades.

how to you secure the bow piece into the wooden pieces
Sharpen the bow peace to a point
And drill holes in the wooden pieces
About 1 inch from the top and in the center. Then insert the bow piece inside the holes

And I got the frame for the large kite at The Home Depot.
