    It's easy to overlook wider interval practice. For vocalists, this means intervals greater than a fifth. In this video I take you through some familiar patterns to get going. Head over the secondo passaggio in fairly short order and then practice some wider intervals. I wrap up this short but fierce warm up with a minor tonality palate cleanser.
    Enjoy!

    Jeff I use your warm up and exercises almost daily, sometimes more than once a day and at times for up to an hour. Really good, made a huge difference to the stability and sustainability of my voice.

    This was beautiful. Can I just take a moment to appreciate the beauty in that sound you're producing on the piano.
    Mesmerising. This is the most artsy I've felt in one of your lesson videos Jeff. Ethereal sounding. You're amazing.

    The best singing channel. I honestly would have never been able to hit the notes I needed to for my records if it weren't for Jeff's legendary warm ups!

    Hey Jeff. Thank you for these really helpful excersizes. I have joined an Opera group and we are doing The Magic Flute! I got cast as Monostatos. I have been using these excersizes to help me warm up.

    Hey jeff I am a tenor and I have pretty good high notes without any strain because of your videos ,but I have airy low notes like it starts to get airy when I reach below E3 and increases till b2. Hope you,ll help,,thanks

    I can't sing high enough to do the full Tenor stuffs, but Baritone doesn't go high enough. Is there another term I should be looking for? Or just try falsetto when the Tenor exercises go above my comfortable range?

    • @JeffRolka
      @JeffRolka  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Mike! Have you tried any of the technique videos from the high note singing playlist. Also, do the baritone videos go too low for you to maintain consistent sound?
      Best,
      Jeff

      I've been through a lot of your technique videos but I don't think I've been through any meant to extend my range. I think perhaps I was intimidated, lol. I'll poke around some more and see what I can try.
      For me, the baritone videos start comfortably at the low end but don't really push me high enough. I'm only a few notes too low for standard tenor stuff, generally. Maybe I can try pushing it with your other videos.
      Thanks for replying!
