Hi Tom, I really enjoy your zoo tour videos and have been watching them daily lately. I love your style-how raw, natural, and minimally edited your videos are. They make you feel like you're literally there in the zoo, unlike some of the shorter, more polished, and heavily edited videos out there. I also appreciate how you capture every little detail in the zoos you visit. You film all the animals in their collections, revisit them multiple times, and record every single information board, scenery item, kiosk, menu, shop, ride-you name it. Your channel really has an archival level of detail. If you revisit the same zoos in the future, the changes in these details will further enhance the channel’s archival value. Regarding this particular video, I found it fascinating to see how zoo animals behave in extreme weather, whether cold or hot. Hearing you share the temperatures during your visit, from early morning until later in the afternoon, and seeing how the animals respond to changes in temperature and sunlight, made it even more interesting. While I understand the need to film every animal a zoo has, this added aspect could be a unique angle to explore during repeat visits. In light of this, one recommendation I have for your future videos is to share temperature and forecast information in each video. It would add another layer of immersion to your already immersive videos, which are so engaging due to the raw editing and other factors I mentioned earlier. For your older videos, perhaps you could add the date of travel in the info box, allowing viewers to look up weather details. Some of your videos already include sections where you talk about the weather when it’s particularly relevant, which I’ve always found to be very immersive, but a consistent approach, like the one I described, could be very helpful. I’m looking forward to watching all your past and future videos. Good luck with your upcoming trips! I’m also eager to see follow-up visits to zoos you’ve already covered. Keep up the great work! Cheers!
Thank You so much, I am really happy to hear you enjoy my zoo tours. I really try my best to showcase not only the animals but the zoo itself. I've had numerous requests in the past to show more of the signage and more of the habitats. I film my tours so the viewer sees everything I see during my visit. Temperature definitely affects my zoo visits. Extreme temperature either way does make it difficult to see everything. Returning later in the day usually gives me the opportunity to see any animals I may have missed. Most zoos give the animals the choice whether they want to stay inside or outside. I usually miss animals during the early morning right after the zoo opens since not all animals are outside yet. I never thought of mentioning the temperature before each zoo but that's a great idea. I had only mentioned the weather if it was a particularly hot or cold day. It's funny that more often it's the Big Cats that tend to stay inside on hot days. Even though they come from hotter climates. Pampered kitties I guess. Thank You for your fantastic co.mment, I have lots more content that I hope you will enjoy
@@TomsRoadTrippin Thanks for the reply, and I'm glad you liked my feedback! One more suggestion I can think of is to include behind-the-scenes tours in your videos. I'm looking forward to your new content! I'll be sure to check out your other categories. I like amusement parks and other roadside attractions too, myself. 🎢
