Only DICE logic can make a buckshot do more damage at range than a slug. Sick vid as allways stodeh.

@@sum11111 Mid range it does, considering the slug spreads like a courtesan from 10m out. A slug would split a person in half at those ranges irl and are accurate to out to at least 80-90m with a rifled barrel. But since DICE doesn’t beleive in newtonian physics the buckshot from a 10-A oneshots out to 60 m and the slug does around 50 damage.

the A-10 slug is the ultimate close range sniper, because you can oneshot headshot up to 50 meters w/o losing much compared to the A-10 Hunter

To much random bullet deviation imo. Slugs are accualy pretty accurate irl. Wouldn't be a problem to hit a head sized target at 80 meters consistently and that target would evaporate every time.
I think due to the spread you can only reliably get OHK headshots up to 25ish meters. Sucks cuz it has the damage potential to OHK at 50m but you'll be missing 50% of your headshots at that range

slug is my go to. If I want buckshot and I'm in a bad mood from work I will go m97 sweeper. Not to mention I will run the obrez as a primary or lately I've been using the peacekeeper to show off my autism to easter eggs.

Hey Stodeh with your accuracy and consistency perhaps the Sjorgen Inertial would be a great shotgun for you to try? I mostly use it because I like the look of the gun and because if I play well its more rewarding then the Model 10 imo.

12:40 - Stodeh, it’s the new patch, all kits now feature the “Empathy Grenade” or “Apathy Grenade” as standard. Difficult to know which one you had equipped, probably “Apathy”, but frankly I’ve lost interest in my own comment...

LOL. cause he is abusing OP weapons? Same as his mainclass sniper. If there no sweetspots he would kill so much less. Look in his profile on battlefieldtracker he hasnt a really good HS rate. Just a bit better than the average player. Hes camping far behind the front and sniping. Yeah thats pure skill. But yes his aim is better than the most. Overall bf1 has still the lowest palyers ive ever seen in an MP shooter.

Considering how strong the M97 is after the shotgun rebalance that happened a while ago I would say that the A-10 Hunter is balanced. The M97 shoots much faster and gets consistent 1 shot kills too, while still not as consistent as the A-10 of course, but consistent enough. I actually prefer the M97 for that reason. You can get some insane clips where you kill 5 people insanely quickly whereas you can't really do it like that with the A-10. Sure, you can peek around a corner, shoot, get back in cover repeat but it's not as satisfying.

So I’ve been trying to use the shotgun lately and I keep finding myself in situations where I’m just too far away to kill anyone. How do you always find yourself in positions where you can so easily kill people with the assault class, especially the model 10A factory?

SMG 08/18 Optical is the best weapon in the game, the ADS time is instantaneous, if you master the recoil the range is really decent, and the 80 round magazine doesn't hurt either lol. You can wipe entire rooms with ease if you're good enough.

Someone please tell me, Stodeh plays on Corsair mouse at 400 dpi, l'm playing on Bloody zl5 mouse 2600 dpi, our sharpness of movement is comparable - not k/d ofc, just speed of movement, so what is all about? When i set my mouse on 400 dpi - its unplayable, movement like a turtle..

Really good showcase how easy/noob friendly assault class is to play. Too bad whole game is centered around that class.
lol the support class is even easier, many weapons feel like smgs but without spread, lower recoil and damage decrease over range.

I can never understand the logic of people who say shotguns are OP at close range... Considering that is the sole purpose of a shotgun... Also the pellets don't just stop after 3 metres or something, they "pepper" the target causing some nasty injuries. They simply should kill with one shot, if anyone thinks they could survive a 12g irl then you've watched too many movies.

It's a shotgun they are making it realistic not balanced it will blow a hole through you for 300 feet away so in the game it will aswell
And a sniper rifle bullet to the chest will kill you too in real life, or at least you will be out of the battle, unable to continue fighting. Yet people can take a sniper bullet to the heart and continue in the game.
