    It's interesting to see how those eggs held up, it's obvious that it's an older egg (like 2 week old compared to that day's egg) but absolutely amazing that they lasted a year as fresh eggs. ❤️

      I know right? We will keep doing these...but will use rotation of 6 months. We will never run out of eggs and they should be top notch at 6 months 👌♥️

      Hiya girls. We will do all the time..and rotate out every 6 months. If at 1 yr they were like this? Then at 6 months? They should be so much more like fresh. If yous do this? Why don't yous do the 6 month in test for our community 🙂 our chick's don't come till may 4th...and then will need to grow lol

      I know right? and those yolks? were still as bright as the fresh. so we will be doing this.. but will use up by 6 month mark. they should be mint.. imagine... need an egg? go to the jar or crock in pantry and fish one out lol.. when hen's slow in cold weather? we will be well stocked for 6 months till longer light for them.

    Oh wow! I was not expecting them to taste the same. I have broke more yolks flipping my eggs. What I have started doing is with my over easy eggs is when they are joust about done on the first side, I dribble some water in the pan and put a lid over it to steam the top until the yolk and snot hazes over. I haven't broke a yolk flipping them since, lol!

    • @pegsclips
      @pegsclips  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You and I make them the same lol... at 1 yr. The yolk although very bright. Had zero integrity that dimple on yolk..like a wrinkle? Is where it started to stick to the shell. We WILL do these each late summer..but only keep 6 months. By then? The girls would be back to work. Taste tho? ZERO difference. Hey!!!! Everything good? I put mine in recycled 1 gallon plastic mayo or pickle jars. You don't have to fish it out with a metal spoon; just reach in with your hand and rinse egg and hand at the same time. The same float test you would use for any egg works for these, too.

    • @pegsclips
      @pegsclips  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was told if you have sensitive skin to use a spoon and rinse right away. .I have 5 left. I'll slam my hand in...and see if I melt. Lololol we are soooo happy with the results ..taste? No difference. A reg in our pantry going fwd but won't keep past 6th month for best performance.
