Im an MT major and summer after first semester I already got a well paying job in my field. People shit on the performing arts, but if you are really dedicated and hardworking, you will succeed. People think you need to be on Broadway to "succeed" but thats not necessarily the case. There are so many jobs in the industry, and by completing a conservatory training program, you can really get your foot in the door. I dont know anyone who majored in the arts and regrets it. Also, Performing arts degrees give you more bang for you buck, as you have so much hands on training. This year while all of my friends taking science etc. were watching lectures over zoom, I was spending hours in dance studios learning in person from world famous award winning performers, directors and designers.
It depends, at my University: Aerospace, Physics, "pure" Math and "Structural" Civil would be considered for many the hardest. Eletrical and Mechanical next. Had a lot of friends in all and could see the difference like black and white. But everyone has their "ranks". Anyway, good video! 👍
Structural Engineering grad student... the part of Civil Engineering that joins y'all in dumping on regular CE. So long as you leave us and our favorite geotechnical engineers out of it we're more than happy to join y'all in the god tier realms of high stress (and strain) and absolutely brutal grading.
Extremely accurate on the exam scores for engineers. Went from scoring 80s and 90s in high school to scoring 60s, 70s, and maybe 80s on my engineering exams. Through in that occasional 90 or sub 20 and you have the entire range of my exam scores.
Don’t worry, without industrial engineers we would just have a bunch of amazing prototypes lying around that don’t integrate with anything or look like something a customer would want to buy. 👍
The Biomed engineer needing a graduate degree and premed exploding in engineering comments really feels like targeting. The penalty, waste two years of your life in grad school for biomed, then two years working as an engineer, then just go to med school anyway. Skips the whole explosion sequence.
Proud to be in God Tier, even though I am
unemployed
RIP to the stable job market comment...best of luck finding a new job this year! 2020 was the worst..
What was ur major😅
Are u also still unemployed?
@@change5450 mechatronics, luckily I work in my field for a while now 😌
@@higgsco thx good luck bro🙏🏾
Good to know that everyone shits on Civil Engineering.
It's the circle of life. Without civil everything would shit on us
Aren't they just toned down mech engineers?

As an ME I highly approve of this content!🤣
Glad you enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun to make.

It does vary. The pure math folks scare me
@@UnpopularMechanics boo!
@@UnpopularMechanics Why do universities have such large math departments? It's less expensive than keeping those folks locked up 😉

I feel personally attacked.
Good
I know gender studies is not included because you dont want to be accused of “assuming” or “assigning” letters
Oh damn
If everyone agrees nuclear engineers are pretty cool guys then what about us petroleum engineers. Are we just like the lesser cool Daniel
Petroleum engineers make the big bucks
I'm glad am in God tier CE, and yeah about grades you burn your self and still get shity grades 😢
How is social sciences F tier? Isn’t economics apart of it?
The absolute disregard for social science is why we're in this mess right now
Nah, you’re mistaking social science with logic, which would actually fall under mathematics 😅
…. sure
An a current Engineer I can say that me and my friends in college were so happy to get 60s on our exams 🤣🤣🤣

Oh Howard, I'm right there with you. The sub 20s are the true test of a man's determination
So psychology is in Z tier right?
See social science
As a political science student i have to say that...... Not cooooooool bro not cooooooool.....
What about a Computer Science Major with a minor in Political Science?
Are you looking to take over the world, sir?
@@UnpopularMechanics Maybe...
Garbage. Math / Engineering is more useful. Political Science can be learned online like most of these.
“If you are a Communications major you are either a sports fan or you didn’t make it as an English major” 😂
Aerospace engie, that wants to make masters in data science
Oh and here you study for free
Aerospace = good people
@@UnpopularMechanics definitely
Where would you rank Ag majors?
A+
Where would you rank "gender studies"
So true about engineers.
accurate as a god major
I am considering doing engineering starting next year? Would anyone recommend it?
Well... N Tier it is...

Why is industrial engineering not engineering lol
I paused video just to control my laugh
IEs are the best engineering major

G their for needs grad school degree
ahaha fun and realistic :D
