I have the same problem with air spring and its making rattle clunking noises. Do you know what is causing this kind of noises? Thank you for answering!
this video is cool i can see everything you doing to the strut assembly however, you don't mention the parts being disassembled. I would greatly appreciate it.
No problem i see that the inner part was the air bag cool. I see that it had a strut rather than a shock absorber, strut bushings, strut boot, upper control arm, the strut cap. All I know in those parts its all integrated. Just was doing a research for the difference. Its for the purpose of extended warranty. they definitely don't cover shocks but they do cover struts. Thanks again for your video sorry it was a while back but informative. Happy holidays!
здравейте, май така е по-добре, коментирах, като сложа амортисьора стои под долната част, и не мога да си го наместя. и исках да попитам дали има някакъв метод да го направя. поздравления
if you'r trying to mount whole shock assembly on car ... (it's a bit jerky translation) remove air valve and it will be way easier to mount shock assembly on car.
but if you are trying to assemble air spring with bushing inside this is really difficult, I've used magnet (on flexible stick - don't know the English word for this tool) to put together bushing washer and in the end to tighten everything. In fact this is the hardest part (in my opinion).
First of all, thank you very much for answering and congratulations on your video, it is very helpful. If you look at minute 15 of your video, my air shock is just like yours, but I can't get the bottom zone in.
dude, seriously i am impressed, this is hardcore DIY fixing
Great job!
What type of glue did you use?
I've used pu glass sealant but it last in about a month after that there was a leak from air sleeve. and i replaced whole assembly.
Hola necesito su consejo, no consigo meter amortiguador en la parte inferior
Bulgarian is my native language, be so kind to use at least English
Has anyone had problems with air spring causing rattle clunking noise while driving over pit holes

Same problem🤦🏽♂️
that noise is coming from your upper control arm bushings need to be replaced. Take a visual inspection of it.

I've tried to show all the tools used during disassembly (it was a long time ago, and I don't remember all tools used during disassembly).

You need someone to help you with shock cable (to pull it from upside) and to give guidance about directions.
