Great new format guys, it must be hard trying to evolve what was already a very strong concept that has been tried and tested for so long. Love the initiative and the effort to keep building on what you’ve got. We will always be here for it ❤
I like the challenges but if you decide to keep doing them there should be an edit that pops up checking them off every time you complete one. Massive fan for years keep it up
Since I didn't see another comment and I wanted to know... Link should've stuck with the warhammer, it had about 33.6% more dps compared to the dagger with the gear in the video
This was an excellent concept and made for an excellent episode! I was excited to watch throughout the entire progression, and what a close finish! Well done
I like the fact that you both are recreating older content and adding a little twist to them. Like always, I enjoy the content! Keep up the great work!!
So glad to see you going back to the roots! A lot of the areas you’ve done have been updated and I’d love to see how you’d do things differently with the new releases and all the stuff you have both learned
Loved this longer form challenge. Short ones are still great and would love to see more but I liked the amount of decision making in this one and how much control you had over the final builds, lets the creativity come through
Love the 10 hour time limit. I know its way more time consuming for you guys but as a viewing experience I like how it gives you guys time to actually make your plans come to fruition as well as give you time to get creative.
Haven't finished watching the video yet but absolutely love this new idea of having specific tasks to unlock items. Adds a lot of variety and swing potential in someone's plan. More of this!
Love the change up to the format lads. you could even use generate task at the start of the challenge for the rewards so that more improvisation is required to fit the tasks in to the plans. Keep it up lads
Big fan of old style Then We Fight Reloaded! A bit painful to see link spend 3 hours going for a dragon dagger that he wasn't even planning to spec with instead of just making a rune scim and going for obby shield(str bonus and huge range defense) Can't be mad though after seeing link go for the risky warhammer play lol, that was ballsy
Honestly, one of your best vids for a while. Really enjoyed it :) Things in particular I liked (not in any order): 10 hr challenge Classic challenge Uncertainty who has the advantage Various good strategies from both of you Rarely seen items Bonus challenges for extra rewards
Absolutely love this! Back to the roots was what I said before starting the vid and to hear you say it made me laugh lol would love to see a recreation of all ur original videos like this with a long period instead of the 2 hours 🙏🏽
I think a fun challenge could be spell book teleport chunk locked. So like you pick a spell book for the challenge (runes provided for all teleports in that book) and spend a TBD amount of time able to go to any of the teleport locations at will but you cannot leave the chunks that the teleports take you into. Other restrictions, tasks, and rules could be put in place as needed and/or maybe add specific tasks to complete to unlock surrounding chunks.
Going back to the roots? Hell yeah!! Can't wait to see you guys do more pvp world challenges in the (hopefully near) future! Those are my favorites lol. Awesome work as always fellas ❤ keep it up! PS: love the 10 hour with tasks idea! Can't wait to see more in the future
i hate Karamja so much xD everything poisons you, and the pathing is difficult and slow that said, i needed it for lunar diplomacy so it served its purpose xD
just awesome, bud do the 10h more, i am hanging, and this is what i want to see, osrs owns, for us old folks, going into mid-30s this was a refreshing look. been your and your mate fan for years, keep doing what u do bud.
love this new twist on a classic challenge! Consider shortening the timer a bit to add some extra pressure! Maybe only 7 or 8 hours? Either way, it's a good day to be #teamrargh
@@Rargh I did t say they where related I was just pointing out the absolute smooth brain play to pay that many rune ore for a direct downgrade when you could have just made rune legs.
I think it'd be cool if for longer challenges like this you could do a best of 3 for the fight. That way all that effort doesn't hinge on JUST one fight. (only the like, 5+ hour challenges though, 1 fight for quick things is fine)
Not sure how this would work, but feel it would be very cool to see. You guys should do a 1-3 hour challenge in an all PVP world. The format would be a battle royale (think fortnite or Warzone) so the areas you can go to would be vast but you would have to move frequently as the circle gets smaller. In the end, the best RNG & loadout wins.
I genuinely think that attack potion gets Link a slight win, Rarghs biggest weakness was not having enough restore doses to counter the brews as well as def reduction.
Should have used the chest randomizer and made a rule 'if you get a clue scroll, you get a roll on the chest randomizer' so that clue farming would be a viable strategy
Good episode guys. Just a thought, with 20hrs worth of gameplay between you in this, could easily have stretched this into two, maybe even three 1hr episodes? I don’t know how TH-cam works but wonder if that is better from a channel perspective?

nothing makes clicking a brown rock on my screen for 6 hours more enjoyable than an hour long pvp challenge
The man himself, September the duck
November the goose one of my favourite mepipers
It's the duck!!!!
WHAATTTTTT
You rewatching this 6 times? Or staring at a ended video for the other 5 hours
Big fan of the long video format, really liked all the strategizing it brought.
Ahhh I remember the original karamja challenge, be cool to see some of the PvP world challenges again where you can fight during the progression
Me laughing at rargh stressing about if steel drag kill is possible xD
Loved it. Linky boy was like I got some earth blast and a dream, meanwhile Rrargh is like how will I possibly kill this dragon.
Great new format guys, it must be hard trying to evolve what was already a very strong concept that has been tried and tested for so long. Love the initiative and the effort to keep building on what you’ve got. We will always be here for it ❤
Glad you enjoyed it, we feel er can really build on this new concept!
This challenge felt very refreshing. Very simple idea, locked to a specific region, just like the good old days, but with a subtle twist. Love it.
Just started watching, but I already wanna say that I really like the idea of the old format + tasks/challenges. I know this is gonna be a good watch.
Like these types of pvps the most, but that's just me. Pirate comes waltzing in with his beer belly while links talking. Classic 😂
I like the challenges but if you decide to keep doing them there should be an edit that pops up checking them off every time you complete one. Massive fan for years keep it up

Raarrrrrgggggghhhhhhh! Love the revamp with the new rules, let’s gooooo.
This was an excellent concept and made for an excellent episode! I was excited to watch throughout the entire progression, and what a close finish! Well done
Missing the mini series this year not gonna lie, those 2-3 days per week uploads were always the highlights of my weeks
Loved it! I would love to see this but with many more tasks, don't be afraid of not being able to complete all of them.
love this idea and the revamp. im all about it. looking forward to this.
great idea here, the tasks really bring a lot more to the variation xD well, and cape choices ;P super fun to watch
This is honestly a great series, watched a few already and love the concept. The creativity to play the game differently is top tier
That was way closer than I thought! great episode!
Amazing idea, really excited to see this series take life

Link decided to go with the d-hammer for the specs them proceeds to spend hours hunting a spec weapon. LOL
Love the change up to the format lads. you could even use generate task at the start of the challenge for the rewards so that more improvisation is required to fit the tasks in to the plans. Keep it up lads
I came back because you returned to your roots. I'm excited to see this episode!
really enjoyed this one guys. Love the added variety to the classic challenge that we all fell in love with
Big fan of old style Then We Fight Reloaded!

Link would've won if it was poisoned though.
@@NyRS-tg4mu True, but just buying a mith spear KP then going for other upgrades was probably the play there
the dragon dagger play absolutely lost him the challenge, and not even poisoning it was worse
Honestly, one of your best vids for a while. Really enjoyed it :)
Things in particular I liked (not in any order):
10 hr challenge
Classic challenge
Uncertainty who has the advantage
Various good strategies from both of you
Rarely seen items
Bonus challenges for extra rewards
lol free advertisement for the guy selling infernal capes at the reveal.
I love the long timer. It really gives a better chance to statgeize and doesn't reward a lucky drop to throw the match.
Really enjoy the higher amount of time allowed for the challenges. Makes it for more interesting odds for loot and more stressful fights.
Absolutely love this! Back to the roots was what I said before starting the vid and to hear you say it made me laugh lol would love to see a recreation of all ur original videos like this with a long period instead of the 2 hours 🙏🏽
The tasks bringing high level gear and variety is a *chefs kiss* keep up the good work!
Awesome format, going back to the roots! Keep it coming boys
Really like the variance the new format brings, great stuff!
love seeing yall go back to the roots.
Great video, I like going back to the simpler format but bringing in some more strategy with the higher level gear picks!

sitting at home sick, this is perfect :3 (also I think the task addition is really good, since it's skill based but gives a good baseline)
I really enjoy the clue scroll rule where you can choose the item. It adds some nice variety.
Ahh😊 just as the weekend rings inn i see a Rargh and Link pvp challenge. Couldn't be better ❤
Love the longer format and the tasks, nice to see you both taking different paths. You could've utilised combo eats better though!

Super exciting for you guys to go back to this but with a new twist
Nobody wanted dragon gloves? Lol
Omg. Dude. You're so right. That would have been the play
@@Rargh definately a better play than spending 90 rune ores on addy legs with +1 str when going range rather than just making rune legs.
@@expl0sive296 Disagree. They're unrelated. The obby legs have nothing to do with me picking the d full
@@Rargh I did t say they where related I was just pointing out the absolute smooth brain play to pay that many rune ore for a direct downgrade when you could have just made rune legs.
I love how differently geared you both ended up! Good fight guys
#teamLink
The task part made this a great idea so that the gear was really varied in the final fight
Rargh will never forget to equip his recoil ever again.
Well played on both sides, gentlemen.
Awesome vid 🔥 love the region locked vids
Rargh stressing over trying to kill 1 steel dragon is peak Rargh content, gotta love him 😂🤣
This takes me back to the very beginning. Thank you
does advertisement for Raycon
right after: "we just bought a whole bunch of junk"
XD
This was amazing! Enjoyed every second of it.
You listened.
Karamja is a great place. Love love love
I absolutely love the challenges within the challenge! Great watch, keep it up guys!! #teamlink
I remember those pvps, so cool you brought it back
Best one in a long time. Keep up with these and add the challenges in
Love seeing some old classic fights!
I think it'd be cool if for longer challenges like this you could do a best of 3 for the fight. That way all that effort doesn't hinge on JUST one fight. (only the like, 5+ hour challenges though, 1 fight for quick things is fine)
The only world in which the dragon dagger is better dps than the hammer is if Rargh has 11 or less stab and crush defence bonus
Edit: in the current gear, the dwh is almost double the DPS of the dagger.
Triple edit: using the dragon dagger for even a single attack was major throwing
Bloody loved this video. Dare I say there will be another multiple video series coming? 👀👀
I missed this series!!! Thank you!
Think you meant welcome to this months pvp😂 miss the 2 uploads a week. Keep up the great content Bs!
Omg !!! You guys are alive !!! Yes !
What an episode!!!! Can't wait for more!!!
damn the nostalgia i remember those old area locked challenges!! great vid go team Rargh!
30:41 Rargh has clearly never watched Verf's Karamja Only series
26 minutes into the video and rargh is woodcutting you got me nervous man but i have faith haha

@@Rargh fr, but im surprised overall the DWH was a solid play at all, I was floored when he picked it.
I thought about it and then forgot about it lol
THAT was an amazing fight!
omg I spat my drink out when the ring notifier came up mid fight
this was a great video, hell yeah keep it up.
Like the video folks!!! Back to form!!! Classic pvp challenges!!!!!! 1600 views 111 likes? Cmoooooon

please reload so many more of these old challanges pog as shit
i liked just because of the giant recoil plugin. good job!
Rargh's gear looked like a fever dream.
Good episode guys.

0-0 on 55, chanced. Super entertaining pvp challenge. Can't wait for more like this
glad to see an OG TWF. they were my favorite. the new ones can be a bit, long? they're still good but i much prefer these.
The pirate with the dad bod 🤣☠️
Man was in the way
I think these challenges are interesting because there is literally 0 RNG in them, straightforwardly the better player will win.
the 2009 emo haircut ain't it g
the algorithm has blessed me with this content today
Good format!
Another video with questionable decisions by rargh… didn’t watch yet
He did good
Debatable…
what a crazy great episode!
Rargh and the recoils is such a meme bro!!
Feel like the DWH the full time would have been better. GREAT VIDEO
Surprised Rargh didn't go with a Dragon Crossbow since he was going ranged.
The *massive* recoil notifier is killing me
