I agree - he was singing like he wrote the songs and sometimes it sounded like the songs were pouring out of him as he played the piano! It was such an amazing movie because of his performance. he was so committed to the story and Jonathan Larson.
not really a fan of musicals, or musical dramas, but tick, tick... BOOM! is fucking WOWNESS. Lin-Manuel Miranda is a genius while Andrew Garfield is a magical beast. also, how Garfield still looks like 23 when he's actually 38 is an enigma to me.
I can't stop watching Tick Tick Boom. Perfect casting, perfect voices, perfect talent. I could go on for hours in such heavy detail about my love for every part of this movie. You can see the amount of effort that went into it and it seriously payed off! Every friend I have convinced to watch it has enjoyed it SO much, recently it's all I've been wanting to talk about lmao!

This was a great interview and I can't say anything that hasnt been said already except that, oddly, I spent a good deal of it trying to figure out the layout of the room Andrew is in lol... looks like a couch to one side and maybe a day bed or taller couch on the other, both facing each other with a TV on the wall between them/behind him and obviously as desk he's sitting at but the TV is at such an odd angle for anyone sitting on the couches and then there is a keyboard like behind the couch... so odd 🤣
