Shame what’s happened to him. He was amazing this season and the season after he only got better and looked to finally be on his way to be Madrid’s top player. Not over Ronaldo but by this time Ronaldo was just a goal scorer while bale did everything else like Ronaldo used to. Then he broke his ankle in November 2016 and he never came back from that injury the same

Dont get me wrong, 50+ goals a season for 5 seasons is fantastic, however...Ronaldo played for Real for what, 5 years before Bale joined and they won hardly anything, but since Bale joined three years ago they have gone on to win a Copa del rey, Two champions league titles and a World club cup.
Definitely the missing link Real needed, and so underrated imo.
