If my daddy was alive today I would buy all that cb radio stuff for him he had a big ass tower for his antenna radio he would talk to people all over the world he had cards from all over the world kinda famous Ernest frankson from point hope alaska so Cool many blessings
The one twist lock connector if that is like 30 amp even 20 amp those are worth at least 15 for male and up 25 for female. Hope you find more of those in that pile of gold.
Those long rectangular blocks with the ethernet ports in them are bus bars for ethernet. Usually in IT closets at businesses, it takes the lines coming out of a switch and distributes it to wherever you run your lines.
10:35 punch down blocks, yep. Basic idea is phone line comes into the building and is split into the different wire sets for each individual line. The punch down block is where the lines are connected then run to the individual phones. Short version.
MNO mounting kits are for antennas that are going to be mounted on vehicles. They are most commonly used on emergency vehicles for GPS tracking and radio communications.
Loving that scrap life, and it's really exciting watching your videos. Seems as if you had another great find. Hoping that you continue to have great finds.
The antennas usually have an operating frequency quoted on them, usually in MHz or GHz. Look for that info, quote it with make / model number and you'll have more chance of finding a potential buyer. Antennas are tuned to very specific bands or parts of bands for use, outside of that band they are next to useless. Good luck, love your vids.
Mike, that BA1012-1 Antenna, is a gem. It's a fibreglass light weight Base Antenna. Ranging from 144-162MHz, which is good for Amateur Radio. Suggested Retail at $430.23 Hope you get a good price for it later.
Hey Mike, not sure if you’ll get this in time but that dumpster behind the music shop in Stafford is full of scrap. Tons of it. Already in boxes and right at the door.
Phwoar!.....nice finds right there. Here I am saving to buy a good uhf cb radio for my truck and you just happen to find some in a dumpster...well done :).
at 8:08 isn't that the newer style antenna for motorhomes etc. like a hidden antenna ? replaces a regular whip antenna. (This is just a guess) at 10:40 looks like Siemon trunks for telephone use. I got a couple myself from a old 911 call center, mine came with multi colored jumper pins. Yours appear used due to the wires in place and they are supposed to have either orange or light blue covers over the pins. I am afraid these are probably scrap unless your electronics guy wants them.
Another GREAT score! FYI: The long plastic item marked with an ASP sticker is an antenna for high band application. Generally used on tall vehicles, due to low profile, such as buses that regularly go through automatic vehicle washes. The fiberglass "pole" is another antenna, and would be marked for design frequency. The numerous connectors with the Andrew brand are for connecting heavy hard line coax to "real world" devices. typically Andrew stuff is very expensive for what it is, but top quality. The numerous new plastic parts are parts of radio or radio chargers, probably stocked for freshening up the appearance of used equipment, replaced cracked housings and so on. The long white plastic blocks with the metal bars on the face and random connectors are a telephone industry item, commonly known as a "punch down block". They are identified as a "66 block" or a "110 block" depending on the physical size. 110s typically have 4 terminations per row across, and 66s have six. 66 blocks are definitely old school, but still popular. Finally, the plug you have is a Hubbell twist lock male, and will have a number on it, such as "HBL5713" This gives the voltage and amps it is designed for, which is also molded into the white part in plain test. They sell easily in the $10-15 area on ebay, depending on exact specs. Retail is in the stratosphere, and probably never paid, except in hardware stores. Let ,me know when and where you post some of this stuff and the wire!
Mike I would go back to that 1st dumpster. sometimes people Throw stuff away in separate trash dumpsters. do be careful Doing this some places have cams watching their dumpsters. Don’t get caught or seen doing it.
That's just too cool to find that much stuff. So I've always been a scrapper and I've found stuff just about everywhere and I hunt trash as well from time to time. Well last night I wish I had a go pro because I scored pretty good for one can. Found a thrown away purse and it had $21 in it and another had a Sterling necklace in it so I videos it when I got home.
service & repair manuals sell but might take awhile, so might not be worth your time. Great Job representing dumpster divers/ karate masters everywhere

at 10:32 we called those "punch down blocks" mainly used by telephone companies. We used them at an alarm company.
Fantastic dumpster. I'm glad that pallet didn't attack you.

You missed a CB radio that was right between your feet when you jumped in! I yelled for you to grab it, but you didn’t listen!

And that PCTEL low profile antenna doesn't worth much. It's around 40 bucks retail price.
