I was pawnbroker for years. Most of my customers were not destitute. Truly poor people don't have many or anything to pawn or sell that has good value. A good chunk of my customers were middle-class people. Teachers and sales people and all kinds of other working people that might need a hundred or $200. You can't go to a bank and get a loan for $200. They came back a month later and paid $220 and picked up their item and I think I was helping people many many times.
Thanks. I have a pawn brokers here in Sydney who helps me out and is very fair. But there are some out there plus gold buyers who rip people off they I guess give the industry a bad name. At the end of the day just treat people fair. Thanks mate

Not always true! I used to be a hater until I connected with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Now I'm called "Brother Love" at church. So, with Jesus all things are possible. Amen? It also has a lot to do with growing up and being a mature person. 1st Corinthians 13:11 says, When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I set aside childish ways.
Praise God! I can relate to this heavily. Made a lot of poor choices and hurt the ones who love me the most when I was growing up. I am just thankful that God told them to never lose faith in me and to show me unconditional love. God free'd me of all my anger, hatred and victim complex and I'm over 2 years sober from alcohol and 1 year sober from alcohol. I was saved on good Friday and got baptized on thanksgiving. I was blessed by being asked to share my testimony during the main service at church and touched many people's hearts. If anyone reading this is struggling with mental health or addiction, or has loved ones who are, don't lose hope. Be patient. God has bigger and better plans for all of us. Got the holy Spirit chills while reading your comment because I relate brother. Praise God and God bless you brother love!

Unfortunately was not able to get an Nintendo when I was a kid got a Sega but I love being a play the games and I forgot about the card version of them. My friends.sego was so cool that they would give me a g.I Joe just to play it one time which I thought was great until I had every GI Joe in the neighborhood and unfortunately it was the end of us all playing g.I joes together.

Pawn shops have assisted me in rent, paid a few small bills, bought me food, etc. They fill an important moment when other options aren't available. I've sold a few things, pawned a few things, lost a few things, and bought a few back. I'm glad they're out there. I've never felt ripped off. The guy that commented on your shirt was probably trying to be funny and he failed worse than Tony Hinchcliff in New York. It would be fun if you wore that shirt to work for the next few videos. It sounds like it's a picture of my soul. God's love.

Man my stomach hurt when i realized what you were saying about your shirt. Im a white guy and in 1988 i moved to NJ and became best friends with a black guy, i actually lived with him and his mom from age 13-16, and he camw to Indiana a few times to hang. But we would get so many comments and looks walking and hangin together. I was tall for my age and long hair, wore metal t-shirts, Brandt was 6'5" 350lbs. So when someone did say something dumb, they got quite very fast. Brandt despised the comments we got. I didnt know what to think, i never looked as us as odd or whatever. He was just my best friend and that was it.There's no place for ppl like that guy that keft the nasty comment, like they say Karma's a B!tch. Sorry you had to read that crap man.
