So happy you're ok! Just wanted to say that my cat started "missing" the box, I mentioned it to my vet. What he said kind of surprised me. "Your cat isn't the size of an average cat but you're expecting him to use a regular sized litter box. If you were forced to used a children's sized toilet all the time, don't you think it would be pretty annoying? Just get him a bigger litter box". Well they don't really make a litter box that big so I made my own, much like you did only mine was made out of a 2ft by 3ft under bed box 2 like yours for shaking the sawdust through to the bottom box. Maybe a bigger box might be the next step to help with that problem? Btw my cat was a cross breed Maine Cook and Norwegian Forest Cat tipping the scale at 25 pounds, yup a tubbers too.
@wendyrobertson3899 Maine Coons and Norwegians are wonderful big beauties. I had a 22lb diabetic Tabby cat. Knocked over the chairs when he jumped on them.
@@lgDukeCity5018 yup Remmi was a wild-ish cat that I rescued, who turned into the biggest love bug ever. His vet was kind of shocked at his size when I first brought him for his vaccinations. He asked me about him but I had no idea about his breed so we did a DNA on him and we were both surprised at the Norwegian part. I kind of figured the Maine Cook part but the Tuxeo coloring threw us both.

Was raised as a child camping, when my sons were born we continued the camping (mostly tents) and when the last son finished Boy Scouts we moved up to a Class C, then travel trailers (difficult to go anywhere once you set up camp in the Class C). We’ve had incredible trips, we’ve had trips with unfortunate mishaps….but nothing can cloud the memories we made (even the one where a surprise tornado picked up our travel trailer and moved it approx 2 ft with us IN it! And a tree landed in the truck bed making it unable to pull the trailer home). Sharing your life and travels with us reminds us of fun we’ve had and haven’t thought about in years….so THANK YOU!! You are an incredible Dad and your daughter is one extremely fortunate little girl! And to be blessed with Lindsey and Sadie as well! When’s the last time you had a tetanus shot? Keep your foot clean and change the bandage often!

Hello Matthew, well isn't that just the way decisions go sometimes. Completely sideways. Glad you still have your foot albeit slimmer, with no infection. As I'm sure that must have been mighty uncomfortable to say the least...did you drive with your left foot? I have had to do that on occasion it's not optimal, but far better than hours of pain whilst driving. Up until then it looked like 'All' of you were having a fantastic time at the campground. Penny quite the wiggler when she was being moved against her will. Heartwarming to see all of you having time together doing what you like best. Be Safe, Be Healthy and Always find Joy in your day❤

Matthew accidents will happen unfortunately, but you’re very fortunate to have your cousin. Please take care of your foot and if it doesn’t get better in a few days please get it checked. Not all was lost because you were still able to make memories with Brooklyn and that’s the most important thing. I think back to when my girls were young and we would go off on adventures and those memories will always stay with me forever. They are 38 and 35 years old now but it feels like yesterday. When I hear your daughters little voice I think about my grandchildren and how I would pack them up for a weekend or a week trip to the beach. They are now 16,15 and 7 the time does fly by fast but the memories will always be kept near and dear to my heart. ✌🏼❤️
I was moving to our friends campfire one time, pitch dark, no flashlight and I'd had a few. Walked right into a jagged stump and took off a few layers on my chin. I had small band aids, but my friend had the big band aids and gauze. Now I always keep a much better 1st aid kit in my car. Hope your foot is healing nicely.

The good thing about that campground was there were so many people there. If it had been just you two and you were badly injured, someone would have been able to call for help for you.

Probably heard it a million times but I am mid 40s male….my hip/lower back and knee used to get so sore and then major flareups probably twice a year depending….started taking Vital Proteins Bovine Collagen Peptides with my coffee in the morning and it made a massive difference. Just that alone. Doesn’t work for everyone but just sayin. 🎉 was a none believer until my 85 yr old mom swore by it….

The good thing about that campground was there were so many people there. If it had been just you two and you were badly injured, someone would have been able to call for help for you.
You could add a permanently mounted ladder to the side of your van, or wear shoes. 😄
