I had no idea what cosplay was either until my friend invited me to a small convention She asked me who I was going as I had no idea what she was talking about So I looked into it and my first cosplay was Edward Elric the FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST >D and now I'm hooked on cosplay and going to conventions
This is what Cosplay is really about :) People don't have to look a certain way to love something and this video shows that everyone can Cosplay no matter how they look. Simply wonderful.
I just realized that for my whole life I have only really seen cosplayers in photos (I have never gone to a convention). So it's actually pretty cool and eye-opening to see cosplayers actually moving and full of life, instead of just standing still and posing in photos.
Every time I'm feeling down about my cosplay and my body image I watch this and it always makes me feel a bit better and puts my priorities in order. Thanks, more than you'll know.

I love that all body type cosplayers are included! A lot of the cosplay videos I see only feature the skinniest, most muscled, and/or the ones with giant boobs and teeny waists. I also love the mix of veterans and ammatures. To put it concisely, I love this to death!!

I love cosplay so much just because of how happy people are doing it and how it can bring so many different people together. Seeing the smiles on the people in this video really made my day brighter (and I guess the Raiden with the operational AR Mask made it a little cooler too :y )
Pretty cool video to be honest. That's how cosplay was back then 5 years ago when I was going. It was all happy go lucky back then. I was always so excited going to cons meeting and socializing with people, taking photos of cosplayers or even with them. Now it's not like that anymore. Too many elitist out there thinking they are better then everyone else, less socializing, too much media; I can keep going. I'm can't even enjoy cosplay because of this and can't even hold a camera anymore. It's really sad and I know I am not the only person that feels this way.
I've never cosplayed, but I'm a roleplaying nerd and so I frequently meet people who do. This is an amazing video showcasing all the love, heart and joy that goes into making and wearing a costume of your favourite character :-) wonderful video, made my day!
This always cheers me up, when I start to feel nervous. I'm going to a big con in just a few days an cosplay in my first self-made costume. And sometimes it makes me fear that I look bad next to all the people who do that since years. But this video reminds me of the fun ahead better than anything else.
