Every soccer game I go to always get one guy shouting out "Come on Ref" getting old. Maybe that guy should go out there and ref the game.

...yet the guy yelling at ref is not in the wrong. Ref sucked ass this match, as do most officials in the videos on this channel. that's what you can afford for this sunday league, though
EDIT: if you are however talking about the guy who is for instance yelling at 17:05, that guy has no concpet of football rules and is obviously a black team fan. overall, ref was abysmal, but he fucked over the white team considerably more though
The irony is that 'that guy' couldn't ref a game right to save his life. I've seen it over and over again.
@@k3rc4 Have only watched about first ten minutes of this video; but the calls are right or otherwise acceptable. He should use his cards though. I can see this escalating due to the lack of discipline. Once players know they can get away with stuff, that's what they tend to do.
the only good part of this game was the goalies. it was foul after foul, kickball and was sloppy for the field players. amazing job by both goalies tho!

Boring game, players were more concerned about tackling the opponent than actually playing the game, did not see too many shots on goal. Seems like a pretty well funded league too bad the players do not take advantage of it. Great editing.

@@truecrimejungle This is not true. This game is an Ontario University Athletics (OUA) game between Western Mustangs and Guelph Gryphons, two universities in Ontario, Canada. Since they're university students, most are under 25 on both teams. This is probably the highest level of amateur football/soccer in the province.

if you all no what football aka soccer is about 60% of them pens should of been retaken cause the keeper was not on the line when the ball was hit bad reffing that

If you consider less than 3% of the population plays the sport and it's horribly funded, it's not the worst.

Looks to me like that field plays waaay too fast. Ball skids and jumps so fast. Any ball deep requires a perfect touch before the bounce, otherwise it's gone.

The way these two teams warmed up, I thought, finally a game where these teams know how to play well. Completely wrong. All they know is blasting the ball. Those Serbs in are best looking team so far. Think how sad that is.

The game was 120 minutes of regulation plus the penalties. That was condensed down into 25 minutes specifically highlighting the fouls. Of course it seemed like it was constantly interrupted.

University level in Canada (specifically the province of Ontario). It's 120 mins edited down to 20 mins of bad tackles and nonsensical plays, there's higher quality plays not shown

Football in Canada isn’t very well funded unfortunately, most teams play on artificial turf because there’s not enough money to maintain a grass pitch
Our extreme differences in weather between the seasons make it incredibly costly to maintain proper pitches for a sport that less than 3% of the population even play.

What level of play is this
It's called "USport", university level specifically the quarterfinals in Ontario. Probably the highest level of *amateur* football/soccer in the province. Keep in mind this is severely edited to highlight the (bad) tackles and shots only.

Refs made from great calls despite the comments I can imagine he got from the spectators or players. 10:05 should've been a red though. That's clear intent to injure.
No he didn't, he missed a blatant penalty and numerous other calls. Plus, he let the game get out of control at times. If he had it under control, 10:05 would have never happened.

Ricardo Silva firstly do you even know what merits a yellow card? And second, check your grammar. He there should have been times where he could have given yellow cards but the cards are not the point so much as giving the fouls. I’d rather he give out the right yellows than give out a yellow for a foul not deserving one.
Jack W he did miss calls and cards, but he also DID make good calls. Never said he didn’t miss anything. And you don’t know whether the game would have lost control or not depending on those calls. Some teams go out of control no matter what.

Just a note: i was at this game live. This video heavily favours Western just saying. Some very bad fouls on both ends but barely any on Guelph are seen. Cmon man, dont post things so biased
