I love the first Bad Boys! One of the most fun action comedies ever! And Michael Bay has an infinitely cool style and this has one of his greatest shots ever that gets reused in quite a few of his movies. But the shot of Smith and Lawrence standing up as the camera pans around will never get old!!

Building a "shared universe" And "mythology" Around this franchise is dumb. The series worked because it was always simple: Bayhem action + Chemistry between leads. I thought Bad Boys for Life was only average and don't see the point of going to see this. Box office is strong right now but this franchise is going to stagnate very soon

Plus in BB3 Mike says they recruited him out of the academy. He would have gotten out of the academy around ‘84

I’m my opinion number 1 and number 3 are my favorite so far. I have not seen 4. Number 2 lost me with the hummer down the hill and the mine field. It was just too unbelievable for me and I did not enjoy it.
Will Smith’s “Adams Apple” stood out more than a “Rubiks Cube”.
Bad boys 3/ for life. Great script bad directing. The 4th installment trailer appears to be better…. We shall see. I’ve had my tickets, food, and drinks ordered for a month now. 😂🤣🤦♂️

They should do a Jump Street/Bad Boys crossover. I know they were going to do the MIB crossover but it makes more sense to have Schmidt and Jenko team up with Mike and Marcus since both movies deal with drugs. With Jump Street they did High School and College, now they could join the Miami PD or a rival PD.
I think that was the point of each of the movies. To mock what should be right.
