A Millennial Insight into Oil & Gas | Hisham Hamid

Hisham Hamid has over five years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry. Having studied sustainability at university, he went on to further his understanding at BP. During his time at BP, he took the opportunity to work in varied roles across the oil well life cycle. Through his interview he highlights the importance of understanding the legacy business as well as interesting synergies with the technologies as well as skillsets for renewable and, oil and gas.
The conversation delves deeper into the value of internships, transferrable skills, and invaluable experiences within graduate schemes as well as the exciting opportunities ahead as the world shift towards sustainability.
Hisham is also a One Young World Ambassador and a board member for the Association of Black and Minority Ethnic Engineers (AFBE-UK).
