Thank You! I try to show window installation in all of my videos with a few exceptions. I am working on a few cars right now and I will try to focus more on window installation. Of course, every build is different but I can show what I do and hopefully this will help. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for the kind words and the sub! I try to let everyone know what paint and color I'm using in case they are thinking about doing something similar to what I did. I'm happy to know that it is appreciated by folks that watch my videos.
Thank You! I'm glad that you loved this color. I had two different shades of blue that I wanted to make it and finally decided to go with this one. Thanks for watching!
Thank you! This was a great kit to build. The only tricky thing about it was the how the suspension attached to the chassis. The rest of the build went really smooth.
Were those craft diamond stickers that you used for the headlights? Did the kit come with clear plastic headlight covers to put over them? EDIT: Never mind, I can see the headlight covers. Nice effect.
Yes the kit came with the headlight covers. I just thought that I would dress the front end up just a little by adding the self adhesive backed gemstones. I think that it gives it a little sparkle and catches your eye better.
Thank you for sharing and educating; Are the Spray Primers typical hardware brands? (Krylon/RustOleum/etc.)? When hand-painting, are you thinning the paint? or straight out of the bottle? Looks great, excellent work.
You're very welcome! The spray primers that I use are Touch N Tone brand. I get those at a Family Farm and Home near me but Walmart has been known to carry them from time to time. When I am hand painting, it is always straight from the bottle. The craft paints I use don't always cover on the first coat straight from the bottle. I wouldn't even try to paint with them thinned in any way. All of the Testors paints are straight from the bottle as well. Thanks for the great questions and for watching.
@@scaleautoguysworkbench Another "newbie" question. If you Prime a piece with a Black Primer, and you want this piece to be black, do you leave as is? (i.e., Black Primer) or do you apply a coat of Black Paint on top of the Black Primer? Wishing you and family a great weekend.
@@southpaw5483 Well, Primer and paint have a different makeup. Primer generally dries with a matte finish. It's primary function is to seal the surface and to provide a surface that the paint can adhere to. So, with that being said, a topcoat is recommended over primer. From time to time I will apply a clear coat over black primer on frames and the like. That is not only to give is a glossy look but also to protect it from scratching and handling. Thanks for the question and I hope that my answer helped you out.
Great video. Can u so a window installation video. Looks like u make it real easy. Lot of us struggle with that.

Love the color choice here! Have this same kit with the big off road tires.
