  • This shows how to set up See Electrical Standard and Advanced level packages to switch between displaying potentials as targets and displaying the next device off the common potentials. Using POTREF with the default IEC setting of potentials, or completely switching to use splitOPR (Off Page References). Make sure to keep the 2 methods separate though.

very useful video. Since I'm going to setup a new standard drawing and want to use splitOPR method, I tried what you showed in the video, but I can't rename reference text. it is uneditable. could you please tell me what i can do? thanks a lot./Julia

Hi Julia, the reference text should be automatic. If you've renamed the 'References' symbol group to 'References_Original' and 'References-SplitOPR to 'References' then when you double-click using the '1 wire' command the reference symbol should have a 'Product' and 'Connection 00' text. These are really the only parts you can edit manually and its best to keep the source connection as $1 and the target reference as $0. Not sure if this helps.

You should be able to right-click over the folder and select 'Properties' to access the name and make a change. If the symbol database has a lock over it then this won't be possible, but this is not the normal situation. Please contact support.see@ige-xao.com if this doesn't help and the support team will be happy to assist you.

It's possible to set row and column references in the page property, template sections. Check this video th-cam.com/video/hg-xJ80LrrE/w-d-xo.html
