See Electrical with 3D Panel Demo

This is a brief overview of the steps needed to take a See Electrical wiring diagram into the 3D Panel+ module to assemble the enclosure, gear plate and components and auto-route the wires. This includes creating drill templates for Steinhauer and Perforex as well as using the Shop Floor module to assist with wiring and assembly tasks.

Hello sir, does this software support Schneider Electric electrical components only?

No we provide components from hundreds of manufacturers, however since IGE+XAO is part of the Schneider Electric group, we do tend to use these components for the demonstrations.

Yes, any electrical panels can be designed using the 3D Panel+ package. There's functionality to insert copper with bends and hole drilling templates as well as the option to output dxf/dwg or specific Perforex or Steinhauer drill/cutout templates for any mounting surface.

Does the software have a perpetual fallback license, or is it subscription only? I'd be willing to buy it, but we don't do electrical panels too often, since we're mostly a medical company.

Hi Denis, the cost is generally much lower than alternative 3D electrical solutions and you should be able to contact your local IGE+XAO sales team and arrange a 30 day free trial.

How do enable 3d panel

Make sure when you install See Electrical to use the 'Custom' option and include the 3D Panel module. If you've already installed, use the Modify option in Add/Remove Programs for See Electrical.
Once its installed if you have a license you will be able to create 3D Panel pages in the workspace panel, if you have recently installed then you may still have 30 days trial available.

Thats a good question, no at the moment we don't import or export to IFC format. We currently export to AutoCAD DWG/DXF, STL, IGES, STEP and 3D PDF. I'll pass on this request to the development team, thanks.
