The sourdough cookie recipe I used:🍪
2 sticks browned butter
1/2 cup sourdough starter
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 brown sugar, packed
splash of vanilla extract
2 egg whites
3 cups + about another 3/4 cup
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
chocolate chips, measure with your heart :)
Cream the butter and both sugars together. Set aside.
Mix dry ingredients then set aside. Then mix wet ingredients. Add wet ingredients to the butter mixture and mix.
Next add flour mixture to the sourdough mixture. Mix until the dough is firm and workable. Fold in chocolate chips.
Place dough in fridge for about an hour.
Then preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Cook the cookies for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Shrimp stir fry:🍤
1 diced green pepper
3 cloves garlic, diced
1/2 diced onion
1/2 cup diced broccoli
1/2 cup diced cauliflower
protein of choice, we used shrimp
leftover peanut butter container
about 1/4 cup of water
soy sauce to taste
salt, pepper, and onion powder to taste as well
Start by sautéing the veggies until soft, then add the shirmp. While the shrimp is cooking, add water and soy sauce to peanut butter container. Shake for a few minutes. Add the peanut butter sauce to the stir fry after it’s all fully cooked. Serve over rice or noodles.
Lime mint refresher:🍋‍🟩
juice of 2-3 limes
handful of mint leaves
water to taste
Add all ingredients to a jar and let sit in the fridge for at least an hour before serving.
