- Has a baby who vanished from her crib 20 years ago finally been found? There’s a new turn in a case that made headlines in 1997. The parents of Baby Sabrina say a 20-year-old woman reached out to them claiming to be the long-lost Sabrina. When Sabrina went missing, suspicion fell on her parents, whom cops thought "did not appear to be upset." When they made a plea for their baby's return, some called them cold. The Aisenbergs say they've never lost faith that Sabrina was still alive. #InsideEdition
Sad thing is, if Sabrina is out there and still alive, she won’t know she’s Sabrina. Her kidnappers would probably pretend she’s their biological daughter and they would change her name completely

It’s a normal way to respond for many. It’s shock. Like things aren’t real. Many people down play it in there own heads. When my dad died I pretended in my head for months that he wasn’t dead and walked around like everything was just dandy. I only really cried when looking at pictures of him.

That's what my birth mother said. Last saw me when I was 8 months old, and saw me again after that at age 32. She said it was very odd for her to see me as an adult and not that baby she remembered.
She was an alcoholic at the time and social services took me away. She didn't fight for me. Just let me go. Which is fine as I was adopted by a great family anyway.
People just have to learn to understand that people don't always cry and make a big scene about everything and there's nothing suspicious about it

There is a difference between a big scene and showing emotions we would expect in such a situation. There was nothing showing at all, in this case. There was also a recording of their conversations which were very suspicious, but it was disallowed as they did not consent to be recorded. Good lawyers take care of that.

I was looking right at her face, and when it glitched i half saw it and thought it was a weird guilty tick and it kinda scared me and i had to rewind and see it was just glitch. The sad thing is, if she is still alive right now she might not know she is kidnapped or if she is named Sabrina. The kidnapper might’ve tricked her into thinking she wasn’t Sabrina and they were her real parents. And they probably named her something else. She could’ve just watched the news easily and cases but the kidnapper probably didn’t let her have social media or prevented her from watching that
I do think if there is a resemblance she might make a connection just seeing her mother on the news. It’s possible but also possible to not happen.
She wasn't even a year old yet when she was taken so why would they have to trick her into anything when she wasn't old enough to remember anything anyway?!

Parents sometimes stiched the name in the baby stuffs like blanket. Or even if they didn't know it at first, they certainly would've figured it out when the news were coming out.
They definitely knew cuz of the media but maybe kept it from the girl so she’d never find out. If she’s alive, I hope she’s okay :/ I can only imagine what the parents felt. I would have died if I woke up n my child is gone, straight die.

Tbf, they have two older children, so those two might've strengthened their resolve in staying together, and this might've helped the family's bond as a whole. Losing a child can either make or break a couple, and even though there's a missing piece, they had to carry on for the remaining children they have.

That’s so heartbreaking to go through having a baby, trying to raise them, have them taken, be raised by another family and then, your said child barley want anything to do with you once they find out everything because “they have a family”. I think that Little Baby Might've been Taken by a Distraught woman that might've been pregnant with her own baby by her husband or boyfriend, and sometime down the road might've had a miscarriage and lost the baby, she was afraid that her husband or boyfriend was going to leave her, she had to pretend that she was pregnant by using fake pregnancy pads, might've confided in a friend to help her get a baby, so by taken this baby girl, is like replacing the one that died, without telling her Husband or boyfriend the truth, I don't know why This Baby Girl's Parents Should've Been on Either The Dr. Phil McGraw Show or The Today Show, or Good-Morning America, By Putting This Girl's Now Age Progressed Photo, Story, Etc. Etc. someone, somewhere in this world might know where this girl is or who took her, because we all know that there's always someone that likes to brag about stuff, or this Girl herself might be watching either one of the three shows, and realize that her real Family misses her and is still looking for her, even though it's been 26 years (2023), God knows what this girl has been through the past 26 years, she might've been told that her family didn't want her, or they've abandoned her, or they never cared about her, or they give her up to these people, or God forbid They might be dead.

But there's not many psychopaths who had guts to break into someone's house just to steal the baby. If she was left unattended in the park or something? Yes. But inside the house? They must be a pretty commited to killing to do that and I doubted they would only be satisfied with one victim, which means there should be other similar cases happening around that time.
And if the motive was revenge, or hate to the parents, I imagined they'll dumped the body somewhere for the parents to find.

I was about 10 years old when this happened I remember it well. I can remember even thinking back then though that bc the baby was so small, it was probably someone who wanted to raise the baby as their own. Let's just hope that's true and that even though the person is obviously sick, let's hope they raised Sabrina with love like a lot of other babies who've been stolen by people wanting babies and then turned up later as adults. It could be sinister but like I said, just the fact she was only 9mos old makes me hopeful that someone took her to keep and raise her, instead of to hurt her.

The 2 women were not Sabrina incase anyone is wondering. The parents were suspicious though. A few days before she went missing, a video showed sabrina with bruises on her face, and missing hair. The night sabrina went missing, they happened to leave a door unlocked AND the garage open. The mother was smiling in an interview about her missing baby. They were charged for making false reports. The cops even bugged the house and found them talking about Steve killing Sabrina while high. I have a feeling sabrina won't be coming home, and they got away with murder. Even had their attorneys fees paid for them.

Sadly I doubt she will ever be found unless she ever does a family tree thing with the blood test that shows who your related too. UPDATE: More than enough time has passed and all women who stepped forward and claimed they could be the missing girl, were tested. Unfortunately, no one has been a match yet.
New evidence shows a hidden recorder inside the Aisenburgs house which you can hear the parents talking about burying the baby. Even with that, Because there is no body, they can’t be arrested.
As of today, they have not found her or her body. ☹️

I've come across 2 cases where both children rejected their biological parents and opted to continue living with the couples that kidnapped them as they were already attached to them.

Imagined if you had grew up and lived happily in a loving and caring family, possibly already in clooege with boyfriend and a clear future, and then suddenly there's a pair of strangers claimed you're their long lost daughter and bugging you non-stop to leave everything you knew behind and go with them in an unfamiliar place.

Have you seen the story of Kamiyah mobley she was very attached to her abductor being that the woman raised her as her own. She gave her a normal life she feels nothing towards her bio mom. Also another story where two boys were accidentally switched at birth the moms decided not to switch them back one was rich the other poor. The situation was extremely complicated

I think it was an accident. Or maybe some sort of abuse . They covered it up. They kept a room for her because it's a great way to grieve and honor thier child. I really do think it was accidental.

In my state when Jacob Wetterling went missing his mom fought and brought awareness for decades until he was finally found and put to rest properly.
Hope dontmope Of course they wouldn’t want to imagine that their child was being abused, that’s human nature. They had two other children at the time who were both very young, it makes sense to focus on getting them through this traumatic experience and raising them to be good people rather than focusing on the one who is likely already dead.

If I would have been in their shoes I probably would feel like it is a bad dream (at the time she was taken). It would take some time for it to sink in that this is really happening. At the same time I would be VERY upset about people believing I did something to my child. My heart goes out to them.
