  • How to Not Get Dizzy When Spinning | Technique Tuesday (5) - Today's video is all about spinning and how to turn better while dancing. You will learn turn technique called "spotting" that will keep you balanced and help you not get dizzy while spinning if applied correctly. We have an easy exercise to practice how to spot and learn to isolate your head while turning.

    I get dizzy even with spotting because its the rapid turn of the head in spotting that really makes me dizzy :(

    i'm curious how Britney Spears don't get dizzy from spinning on her IG posts and omg she does the same spotting thing too! and she does it fast.

    I had to leave dancing yrs ago bcoz I used to feel super dizzy after dancing.

    does this also work for figure skating? becuase i need to not grt dizzy when i spin super fast 😭

      Never figure skated before so I can't speak on experience but it should help any time you are turning!

      hey hey figure skater here! This can help but it's not recommended with fast spins cuz you might hurt your neck

      for fast movements you just have ot keep practicing. Your body builds up a resilience to dizziness.

    U fine and OK?
    I really try this steps. It was nice ,but I got confused , it work out little not very 100% of it.
    Ad u mentioned that find ur partner ....
    We have to dance for only single person only

      Hi Sam! Keep practicing you'll get the hang of it! If you don't have a partner that's ok, just use a mirror and find (spot) yourself or any point on a wall at eye level like a photo or decoration, something that's still and not moving is easier :)
