“Talk to your support group” ☠️😂
They're supportive in a way 😭
🤣
Lmao
meanwhile support group:
lmao
One step is missing, watching the video again making sure he really only have 10 Fingers 😂
This one lol
"I paid for the whole piano im going to use the whole piano"
-That man.
He used his Kagune
So true
Out of all his covers, Unravel is the best one
Such intensity
Animenz is the type of guy who makes non pianists inspired and makes pianists quit
Bro I bought a piano bc of him I learned how to play now im on the verge of quiting bc I tried learning his beaststar arrangement 😭😭
@@tea-pr1yg same T _ T
@@tea-pr1yg you shouldnt give up my friend, there are plenty of good music you can try. Or you should just practice harder, longer, maybe take even a year or more, you can eventually learn it, and improve your skills a lot. Everytime after that your next piece will take you less time to learn
@@tea-pr1ygI got inspired by watching Hiromi who did the music from Blue Giant. Talking wanting to quit 😂
😂
Just don't open the piano cover. Works everytime
I love how the beginning is so encouraging, the "I can handle it" and a few notes later you´re in de midle of nowhere. I´m just in LOVE with animenz´ version. Maybe one day...
I've been trying to learn this piece for, uh, 7 years now, and this is why lol
last time I tried (probably about a year or two ago?) I managed The Wall at what I thought was a pretty good speed, then I checked the video and it was still only half the speed it's supposed to be. I gave up again pretty soon after that haha
but last night I sat down at the piano and decided to finally try again, and hey maybe this time I might reach 0.75x speed if I really practise! :) wish me luck lol
It just takes time bro, remember that animenz has been playing for about 2 decades, so his fingers are exceptionally fast. If you want to play the piece that brought out the best in him, you'd damn well expect to spend at least a decade learning it (or playing piano at very high levels to improve your stats in general)
All Animenz has to say to make us feel like learning piano was worthwhile:
"Stand proud, you are strong."
Animenz : "oh yeah, Unravel is actually a failure"
he said that in one of his live streams
...... What???? Me: megafailure!
How though??
I have never related to a reel so much in my life
I was literally just learning his Tori No Uta arrangement and I went through all of these fazes today, wtf.
I. Totally. FEEL you.
That's good you show actually how it goes. People usually don't anderstand how tedious it is to learn a new piece and how you don't master it in 2/max 3 hours
this is me with crying for rain animenz
this is peak comedy right here. I feel you dude
“Simply piano would have you playing that in a week” ☝️🤓
Yes, it’s an insane technical piece. But, It seems if you drill on the fundamentals, that’s really what it’s about. Get good at arpeggios with both hands, scales, and chords in all inversions and all keys. I’m sure it’s more than that, but being great at the fundamentals I think goes a long way, as opposed to learning each note slowly from sheet music.
I played step 5 pretty well
1. sit in frustration
2. repeat
THE SUPPORT GROUP LMFAO
Why is it so accurate 😭 that is why i keep playing the same shi over and over again
All who would invade a small country for a faithful anime remake.
V
Bro has a W support group
The Idol opening is doing this to me as well
Same here, but lower skills and the song is daisy, beyond the boundary. I really wanna be able to do it but it's too hard, i wanna do it tho. Damn it all
This is so true
took me 1 week to learn the piece.... now i forget how to play it again 😂 back to square 1
It’s ok man, give it (a lot) more (business) days
Me who's stuck on break : nice
Can confirm
This is me and Liszt
So accurate
Me every time I'm practicing piano:
Emotional Damage
Gente, eu faço exatamente isso só que tocando Always With Me de Spirited Away
Bro I feel personally attacked that's literally exactly what I do 💀
Nice vid
Ah yes, same type of support group here
Gambarii !!!!!
Me: I’ll do it tmr
Tmr me: **forgor*
Exactly
FeelsAnimenzMan
Love it xd
Thats me but trying to play Ashes on the Fire 💀😭
Me thinking he was going to do it...
Bro how do you own a grand piano 😭😭😭
ACCURATE
У меня абсолютно так же 😃
哈哈哈 为什么那么真实
I know characters from 😂 rent a girlfriend, Quintessential Quintuplets and Oregairu from you support group...
This is me right now 😆
It's not even from attack on titan yet you have to face many walls.
lmfao this is perfect
he exposed someone 😅🤣🤣🤣💀
"The Wall" is the graveyard of those who wished to learn this piece. I'm definitely not speaking from experience though...
lol
it should be called "The First Wall" because there is more than one wall xd
@@chezboi3370exactly yes
It's where I'm up to lol
And extremely satisfying when you learn it after months of practice. On full tempo with atleast 90% accuracy
Thing is, even Animenz himself rarely plays his own arrangement live because it's simply too exhausting and tasking for him. He created a beast he himself couldn't even control anymore xD. I mean, obviously Animenz is an exceptional pianist. So exceptional in fact that he's the only youtuber pianist endorsed by Steinway.
Didn't he end up just creating a slightly easier version BECAUSE of how exhausting it is? iirc the description of the video itself just says something like "idk how I did this in one take"
@@kyuuchat yea he performs the easier version live since hes playing a lot of pieces in one go itd simply be too much if he went all out
@@kyuuchat He had his own anime moment where he exceeded his own limits and kicked ass
@@kyuuchat bro was in maximal flow state probably. Creating such a masterpiece after being in heavily competitive colleges and travelling the world does bring out the best in someone.
Animenz is top! 👍
As a pianist, i can confirm that this is behind the scenes of every pianist's success
I'm Currently trying to learn the Cinderella Ost from The Grim variations since there's no mention of the song anywhere so I'm going by ear
Literally me learning every Animenz’s arrangements l
When you get past the wall and then realise it's not even the hardest part.
bro it's despairing, that part just before the jumps is also insane
@@hrishikeshaggrawal the bit before the jumps is super easy it's just rhythm. you don't even need to move your hands.
The section mentioned here is not the hardest part...
The climax between bar 35-47 would require your left hand to press 7 keys, going down 3 octaves within 0.9 seconds. Bar 65-72 requires your right hand to consistently go at around 10 notes per second, and with bar 77-80 that goes up to 16, but that probably could be done with a gliss.
I play the piano recreationally but don't know much about music theory, so I'm basically reading the sheet like a machine. I practiced many difficult songs before, including many Animenz ones, and Unravel is by far, the most difficult. I never managed to play it at full speed, 80% with lots of mistakes is by best.

😐🔫
This is so true, except when you are physically unable to give up like I am, which helped me to ALMOST master Animenz's My Dearest.
Legend
"Physically unable to give up"? Tf... I gave up to My Dearest and just moved on to Fonzis Gurenge instead
@@azul1964 LMAO. But honestly, if you're playing piano as a hobby, you should focus on having fun over burning yourself out on a difficult piece lol.
@@thedefinitionofhumble1877 well, after getting ATCL, playing and listening to music because slightly different hobby than before.
Yeah, I hate that "burning passion" that wont let you quit when you need to. That applies to a lot of different hobbies. At least the ones that I've invested my time and money on, but I swear dude, hobbies that involve skill and practice are like a never ending loop of stress where you chase the idea of success without ever reaching it. And THAT'S supposed to get people out of depression and shit? Hell nah
What a caring support you got yourself there ಥ‿ಥ
that "Take a break" phase for me usually takes longer than the time I'm actually practicing
I was skipping anything till "sit in frustation" and straighly proceed to "cry" before ending my attempt
💀
THATS SO TRUE OMG 😭😭 I’m currently on the “Take a break” phase watching you
Animenz being the 21st century Liszt
I wouldn't dare learning Animenz arr.
12. just repeat the intro constantly to at least feel like you've achieved something...
This is me on basically all songs I “know” xD too true
I feel like I'm being watched
We all have that moment when we imagine ourselves playing in front of the whole school
Dude literally went through the twelve stages of grief.
bro like how is he so cracked bro, I can’t even fathom playing like he do
mans hands just go ⬅️⬅️➡️⬅️➡️⬅️⬅️⬅️⬅️⬅️⬅️⬅️⬅️➡️⬅️➡️➡️⬅️➡️⬅️⬅️⬅️➡️⬅️➡️⬅️⬅️➡️➡️➡️⬅️➡️
Step 12. Vut all your fingers and toes while counting 7 backwards from 1000
I love that your lie on April on your wall miss that anime probably gonna watch in again damn I missed that anime good old days

He forgot the last step : create your version😂😂😂 and
why is this sooooo super me when i get inspired with a song and want to play it on the piano but its too hard🤣
Me vs every piano cover))))
I believe you can!!!
You can do it man, just continue playing..
The “take a break” pose is so real
I played that with 6 hands...
LOL SO FUCK*** relatable
I’m learning the rumbling right now but my hands are literally 1/3 the size of his so I feel your pain 😂
I play a cruels angels thesis version from animenz and its so hard
Всё отлично!!! Не сдавайся🎉🎉🎉
Advice I’ve received is to break the song into small parts. Small as you need to. And build on success. Don’t practice until you get the part right. Practice until you can’t get it wrong.
Steve’s Father would say : He is such a FAIIIILURE , doesn’t even know how to cook rice 😂
Bro there isnt impossible anything if u believe urself u can do anything
Pretty sure they used the beginning of the piece for the Tokyo Ghoul intro 😮
. . .
HERE IS THE SOLUTION: I bribed 3 of my other friends to use their fingers too 👍
I always try to play Animenz arrangements but in the end I give up and make my own arrangement 😂
that "FAILURE" reminds me of "EMOTIONAL DAMAGE"
I’m tryna learn animenz kick back rn I got the first part but I’m still just tryna get down the quick hand movements
If I had just practice and kept practicing I would have been able to play that song on piano
Literally me transcribing then trying it all on bass. Lost my mind before i even picked up an instrument. Defo worth though.
I learned the piano on my own, just by ear, BUT I CAN'T READ SHEET MUSIC😭. Trying to copy Animenz is a NIGHTMARE for me. Any tips?
People that plays piano would usually say that we've been there( im a part of it) but, my 8 years old cousin... is gifted he played it with ease.. howwww is he soo good though... Im so jealous
…
No…no
I can’t fucking slip into Tokyo Ghoul madness again BEGONE
Bruh tell me how to read?!😭🤧 I wanna learn to read sheet music effortlessly! But don't know the right sources! I know to play simple songs bcuz that's how far my basics that I've learned watching TH-cam goes. I want free sources but there are so many TH-cam channels, websites or apps. I've tried learning wo reading music but that works very slow for me. I make progress way quick with reading music. But i need a right course that teaches me all music theory to be able to read & comprehend music!😢
Be like me. I just outrage quit and play Twinkle Twinle Little Star :))))
As an amateur pianist, I know that we all rebound from Step 11 is cuz our pride won't allow us to quite.
