I was a junior in high school when I first heard this. That line, “door is open come on out side”. “No I can’t come out today” was a trigger of my childhood. Emotional damage.
She is so freakin' happy. When Laws of Illusion came out, it was obvious it was a purge. And I am glad she did that. I would love to hear some of those cuts live, but I understand if she just sets those out to sea. I was at the WA show on the 25th and she was nervous (and steroids for her vocal issues). Once she got into FTE, she nailed it. Kudos to her band, they are stellar.
