    do you think it can detect the FTC 2019 fence (wall)? I ask this because the wall is kind of clear plastic?

      It cannot reliably detect the field wall. This sensor has a laser, and it shines it and determines how far something away is due to the time it takes to come back (Also known as a time of flight sensor). With the field wall and most other polycarbonate, the laser shines right through, and while it will occasionally reflect on very scratched polycarbonate, it's not reliable and we wouldn't recommend counting on it.

    we've had a problem with our 2m sensor. It doesn't show up in the robot config. We've tried different ports and different wires, restarting the phones and everything. The weirdest thing is it worked just a couple days before and now it doesn't show up as an option in the robot configurations. we've connected the hub to the rev hub interface and connected to it and it can find and use the sensor just fine, so it's something wrong with the phones as far as I know.

      What port did you plug your sensor into? It should only work if you use an I2C port.
