    For anyone getting into fingerboarding the better choice is black river the baseplates last longer dynamics are cool they just don’t last as long

      I would agree with the regular trucks but the special edition dynamics are a lot stronger baseplate wise from what I’ve found

      The brt pivot cups wear fast i thought

    im just gonna disagree with everything everyone is saying lol, I actually prefer dynamics over brts lmao they definitely aren't any softer than brts and the inverted kingpin makes feebles and smiths a lot smoother than brts. the dynamics have a more realistic look as well. Not to mention your spending 40 bucks plus tax for dynamics vs nearly 70 fucking dollars for brts. I've owned both and brts are great but why spend 70 dollars when dynamics are just as good if not better. also when it comes to baseplates stripping, that will always happen when your switching trucks from set up to set up if you know anything about anything and threadlock is so cheap and so easy to use that I would hardly consider it an issue. but with that being said I've owned 3 pairs of dynamics, one of which I've switched around quite a bit and I haven't stripped one bolt.

      They are both good trucks. One is thing I can say is that I’ve stripped more brt bases than dynamic. Just saying.

      In Europe both trucks came for the same price and on that I think both are on the same level in everything…
      So I didn’t tested dynamics till now but I will in November, then I will see if there are really any bigger differences that I can’t imagine but so far I would say you didn’t go wrong with any of both trucks…

      Dynamics dont look anymore realistic than brts, ive used multiple sets of brts for years, changing decks all the time and never stripped a baseplate, if you’re stripping baseplates you dont know how to screw in a bolt properly

    No bs for sure black river is the pinnacle of what a fingerboard should be i got the pro complete with 34mm black river trucks and 33.3 x wide black river dexk

    Great video, & great points made. I think I personally being a OG, will always lean towards brt’s, they v much do match my preferences weight wise, makes it much easier for me to get controlled flips & rotations with tricks like hard flips & inward heels, but I am a dynamic fan as well, I love the fact they have 36 wides as well, but honestly I’ve never compared the two tbh, I just know one thing, people shouldn’t let price deter you from fingerboard part choice, it’s one of those hobbies with very few manufacturers & everything’s hand made, & i think if you love fingerboarding, save up what you need & give everything you can a try, & support those who pave the way in the scene🙏🏽✌️

    I have both and I will say both are very good for fingerboarding. As you know BRTS cost around 60-70 obviously these will last you longer however the dynamics are a very good price for good fingerboard trucks. This can range from preference on to what you like more but they are both very good😊

    Are you using a Lego ninja sword as a pointer in this video?! Oh brother, you get two thumbs up from me, man. Greatly informative, and I concur with your findings as of about 2 years ago,… although alloy formulas may have changed since then.

      my slime although i appriciate your kindness and dedication, i must point out that (no pun intended) the pointer is infact a Victorionox mini sd pocket knife tooth pick. had to get it off my chest.

    What if a skier tell you not to go for Dynamic, especially the red and black pair, because you can rent Fischer without upsetting his tune 🆙️, I guess. Not really bothering of Junior Maphia. I had the time, 51 this sixth of March. I don't know. Namastè.

    Do you know if the BRT 3.0 have upgraded bushings? if not do you recommand the beta bushing from level up fingerboarding?

    i havent fingerboarded in over 14 years but im getting back into it and buying a new setup. on my old setup i had Y trucks which i personally loved for a very very long time , they are in need of some bushing love now but are still good after 10 years of fb on my 29mm setup. how would Y trucks compare to the dynamics or black rivers?

    • @MooseCs
      @MooseCs ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Me personally the dynamic 34mm special edition are perfect weight wise the bushings feel good and haven’t worn much I haven’t used y trucks but the dynamic special edition truck are the best I’ve tried

      I was in a similar position (10+ year hiatus, and Y-trucks were my absolute favorite). So far, I've tried 34mm brt, and 32mm T-trucks( and I have 32mm dynamics on the way in the mail).
      -Y-Trucks, they are light like I remember, I like that. (I also like the heavier BRT's sometimes, so it's definitely a preference thing). Ordering the 32mm was a mistake for me. The width between the wheels without spacers is too narrow for a 32mm truck. So I added some FBS spacers, that fixed the width problem, but now the wheels ride on the threading of the axle instead of the smooth part (so the ride isn't nearly as smooth as the BRT)
      BRT- No complaints, other than changing the bushings. They are very noticeably heavier than the Y-Trucks (especially the 34mm BRT's I have). But I ordered the wrong size for me, the 34mm is too wide for me. With single bearing wheels, I expect 32mm BRT's and 34mm Y-Trucks to have the same wheel to wheel width (bc Y-Trucks aren't designed around single bearing wheels like BRT's and Dynamics, so the wheel scoots in closer to the truck on Y-Trucks).
      Dynamics- 32mm dynamics are in the mail, I'll give an update.
      Summary so far. If you're using single bearing wheels on a 33.6mm deck, get 32mm BRT for heavier trucks or 34mm Y-Trucks for lighter trucks. We'll see where the dynamics fall in the range.

    brt are made out of zink, not an alluminium

    • @Eddy_E.
      @Eddy_E. ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah and Zink is for sure harder then aluminium, so it didn’t change anything on what he said…
      And that’s the point why they last longer…
      On most Chinese trucks it’s just the same and the newer generation came pretty close to brt when you tune them with some level up bushings…
