Swamp thing is a very powerful character he is beyond Omega level he is way to powerful but he doesn't get much credit he is one of the most underrated characters and one of my favorite characters
Is he? Wasn't he mostly depowered reccently? The parliament of trees made him the champion of the green, but now that they're gone and the parliament of flowers has taken over and chosen a new champion (King of Petals) he has lost most of his powers. But then again, I haven't kept up with reccent developments and I'm not sure if that's still the case.

he can make plants grow super fast and super big, there was an issue where Constantine asks him to grow his tiny canabis flower , then the party started
I think the problem was the fact that they focused entirely on the horror element, which was cool, and not enough time on actual character development I would've loved to see Constantine making a guest appearance

Swamp Thing is probably the most consistently well written and illustrated character in comics I've come across and he is definitely one of my very favorite characters. His older issues are awesome but so are a lot of the newer ones like the new 52 story.
I mean Man Thing does have a one hit KO move with his fire that burns everyone with fear. But yeah, on a normal day the Man Thing could never beat Swamp Thing.

I enjoyed the Swamp Thing cartoon made in the 80s(?) when I was a little kid but only in recent years learned that he's part of the DC universe. I love how powerful he is.
My favorite Swamp Thing moment will be when he needed Batman's help for something, but Batman was being Batman so he told Batman "Nobody really dies, they just get sent back to the green. Help me and I'll revive them" then in the end he's just like "Nah, I was fucking with you."

As a kid, I wore The Swamp Thing costume for Halloween. I thought it was dumb as it was one of the few costumes left in the store. I now wish I could go back in time to tell my younger self how insanely awesome Swamp Thing really is, and to invest in Google, Yahoo, Netflix, Apple, and FB.

There is 1 DC villain who nearly always gets the short end of the stick when used, and with his power could make him 1 of greatest villains if used properly. That villain is, Clayface
Swamp Thing is really fun to play as in Injustice 2. He's one of the many characters I was genuinely surprised by in terms of how enjoyable his gameplay was. Other characters that surprised me were Captain Cold and Scarecrow. I know Scarecrow is badass as all hell in Injustice 2, and his Super is straight up 10/10, but I still had my doubts. And then, I played as him. So happy I was wrong to doubt him.

As created by Len Wein and Bernie Writson, Dr. Alec Holland was a standard super. As reimagined by Alan Moore, John Totlebien and Steve Bissette, it became an elemental. Btw, Totlebien (spelling uncertain) was losing his vision while he was penciling the final issues of his run. He had to put his face closer to the sketch pad, which lent itself to more detailed work. I have the last issues of his work before he went blind. Astonishing.
