I do believe he's gonna see her again. I lost my friend a month ago and three days before she died, she saw her mother, who passed years ago, in her sleep and she told her "I'll come and take you with me because I see you suffering..."

@@morphkogan8627 God does take care of humans. People die from cancer and rare diseases because we live in a fallen world. Once Adam and Eve took a bite of the fruit they were told not to eat, everything changed. There is suffering and death because of that now. Its the same for malnutrition and starvation. Those could easily be solved of someone actually cared enough. And malnutrition could also be the persons fault for not eating the way he should.
My grandma died yesterday. She had cancer.

It’s strange that some people are really afraid or sad to think there is nothing after death but personally I’m completely fine with this idea (at least for now)

Heaven is REAL. We are more than our brains. Blows my mind how people could think otherwise. Look at this life, This world . Why we exists to begin with and are capable to feel, question and LOVE.. None of this is coincidence or random.

If you think about it, we are all part of matter, meaning we could come back as something else just built from different matter. But, we won’t remember anything from our old life because we will no longer have that same brain. So, if you have ever lost someone you love so much, there memories of you may not still exist, but their consciousness will still exist somewhere else on earth.

Ahh this video did a lot for me. Death to me is something that's so devastating, but the woman that said our energy may manifest itself in another place and the man that said that he couldn't approve or disapprove a continuation to our lives after death really made me think
I believe that when we die, it's gonna feel like what the day before we were born. It's gonna feel like nothing. Not happy, not lonely, etc. For an eternity and forever

Are you envious of all the things you couldn't do before you were born?
I think it's hard for us to imagine not having consciousness - you only really have it if you have a brain, which you won't have if you're dead. So it's like the guy said, it's the same as before you're born and your consciousness didn't exist. Even if you're afraid of nothingness you can rest comfortably with the knowledge that you won't actually experience nothingness when you're dead, because you're not a conscious being who can experience a sense of nothingness. Does that make sense?
My much loved Grandma died a couple of days ago and although I was expecting this from sometime I am totally devastated and regularly cry and feel totally lost .
I’m trying to hold it together for the sake of the rest of my family that totally adored her although we are all heartbroken.
I’m hoping that there is a better place that we go to when we die as I can then just sit and speak with her as I’ve done all of my life 😢

I think when we die, our soul goes to heaven and waits for a similarly body, and then goes in, but we lose all our memories but nature is still there. Mabye we chose what body we are going in or mabye not. I DONT think nothing happens, cuz, energy cant dissapear so......

At the beginning he was 85. i guess he is aging with time.
As a young teenager, this is such a deep topic for me. I’ve asked my friends, ‘do you wonder what happens after we die?’ They usually something like ‘yeah’ or ‘I don’t know’ but sometimes they have an actual idea of what happens. Do we go to heaven or hell like people are told? Do our souls get transferred to a different body? Do we become ghosts? Do we become nothing? That last one honestly scares me, how do we become nothing? I cry every time I think about it because it’s terrifying to think that we are just gone, done, never to be heard again. I want to know but I don’t because if it’s bad then I will be scared to do anything that can be considered dangerous, like crossing the road; you might get hit by a car, eating; choking then not eating; starvation. Does anyone else feel this way? I hope someone does, it’ll make me feel as if I’m not alone.
It wouldn't make sense to be something bad. Probably wouldn't make much sense to be something completely good either. Maybe it's a mix of both, or maybe our consciousness ceases to exist and there's just nothingess.

I'm 10 and i think that you just go into a different reality where there is no pain and suffering. It's an alternate reality, and you meet dead people, but if you do bad things you are forced to fix it but if you fail you go to hell forever

What about the idea that the exact same happens that an individual expects it to be? That would only be fair to everybody.
I think that I'll agree with the people who said "nothing happens".
The reason for that is, that, when our brain dies, the rest of the organs die as well.
After that, no one can say what happens.
You won't even have consciousness, everything will be shut down for good.
Our bodies turn into soil for the plants and the ground.
What happens to the soul after that?
I guess nobody can answer this question.
I do believe that life and death are one repeatedly cycle.
Some people told me when I was younger, that you are born into this life for a purpose.
You don't really know what that purpose is, that's why after each reincarnation, your soul feels more fulfilled.
It's learning from it's mistakes and it gets closer to the purpose.
Have you ever heard of the phrase "wandering soul"?
It explains what I've written - the soul can't be in peace if it's purpose isn't fulfilled.

I think your consciousness moves to another timeline where you didn't die, you just don't realize it. Kind of like a save point in a video game. You might have already died a bunch of times. And you keep hopping from timeline to timeline (or dimension if you will) and in the end everyone ends up in a world where death isn't possible... which could be a kind of heaven or hell depending on the person.

I just remember the time when i was 18 and a felt myself leave my body while I was sleeping,. Into the kitchen, into the bathroom, seeing my head in the bathroom mirror followed by a trail of steam. Could have been a dream. I get comfort from this and I assume it will be like that.

I would be fine with either, but I'd much rather see my Dad again. He died when I was only 5, and I'd love to see him again. Then again I wouldn't hate being born again, since then I could experience human emotions and life all over again, like a second chance. If you accept something as a fact without any real proof, you have to accept everything without any real proof, logically speaking.
Which things in life do you treat the same way as you treat your belief in a god? Just going against people who actually spend their lives studying how things work.
Do you eat poison? Would you move to chernobyl? Do you say "no" when a doctor tells you you have diabetes?
How do you feel about gravity? Do you think the earth is flat? Do you eat shrimp? Do you fear the 25 foot sentient rocks that plan on taking over the world?
I assume you've had an unhealthy dose of the microevolution/macroevolution speech some ignorant religious people like to give, right?
Here's a hint: they don't understand what it means. Read about the actual subject, and see if you agree with them after that.

Before you go to the "it's just a theory", I'd like you to read up on what "just a theory" is, when it's a scientific theory. It's not just an idea someone had. Please, take a minute to read about it.
It really helps if you study even just biology.
Instead of explaining everything to you here, and you trying to find something to counter with, ignoring everything you can't counter, I suggest you actually read about the subject.
Just start with DNA. You can expand from there.
Start questioning things, just like you would with anything outside of religion.

There is an overwhelming sea of evidence that supports evolution -- both micro and macroevolution. I'm a biology major, so I've been exposed to a crapload of these papers. How much biology have you taken?
