- A new and huge update is coming soon to Dreamlight Valley, and now we know what is going to be in it, and I personally cannot wait. Space incoming! And maybe even Stitch!?
What is Dreamlight Valley?
Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life sim game similar to games like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley. In it, you'll help your favorite Disney characters re-build Dreamlight Valley and bring it back to its former glory. If you like cozy games like ACNH and Stardew, but wish you could spend time with your favorite Disney characters, Dream Light Valley is for you.

Mission in Uncharted space is a line that Buzz Lightyear says, so I'm theorized and after we bring Buzz, the valley he's eventually going to have a quest that allows us to build a rocket ship and then we'll be able to take it to space and that's how we unlock Stitch.
I only saw the post on Facebook so I don't even know that Mickey I'm Merlin were in costumes!!!

I hope there's more holiday themed items in Scrooge's store. There wasn't that many in the last update.

I don't even get a gully loaded store now, nothing ever in the windows anymore, sometimes full stuff downstairs, maybe one item upstairs

It won't be pet costumes, it will be a Christmas themed pet just like the one we got for Halloween
There's also a cave on the right that looks like Elsa's house. That plus Anna's presence plus Kristoff's and Anna's house tells me we're getting more story from them or something related to them.
OK, so Lilo & Stitch thing is apparently coming too, I guess. Aside from that, I hope there's something happening in Frosted Heights. Can't wait to know what we can do with that mysterious pillar there

I don't know about anything going on with kristoff and Anna's house I think it may have just been included for the winter element which is why Elsa's cavern is here even though it's not in the snowy area. I do have agree with you that we're going to get to unlock the next pillar in the Frozen area. The costumes are exciting and I hope that also confirms will be getting winter / Christmas furniture elements. And I would love to get an actual campfire as a decoration and I wish we could also get buildable campfire pits like we were supposed to! This update looks very exciting and oh my God stitch! He's my number one get!!
I liked the Scar update but wow, this looks a lot more ambitious. Not just Buzz and Woody, but Stitch too?! This should keep us entertained for a while. Wasn’t expecting villager skins this early either, thought all those milestone gifts were coming near the end of early access. Hope that founders statue with Walt Disney and Mickey won’t be far off then!

I would imagine we'll be able to clear the Frozen pillar, and another tunnel system by the river like the Plateau had (I don't think it's the northern sector yet - the slope looks further left on the map). I've seen a pic of a door in the castle with the Toy Story aliens' face on the plaque
That purple mountain came to life, it’s holding a ship (left side). Tilt your head slightly to your right. Icicle cave glows purple. Elsa? 🧐
You didn’t mention Anna, but I’m guessing with her in it, her and Kristoff’s castle and the it being set in Frosted Heights that we will get a main story quest to restore it with Anna’s help. Excited about the holiday updates. Not sure how Stitch fits into all of this but can’t wait to see. 😊

Sven for a rideable mount (and puller of the fixed sleigh)! Or maybe Kristoff and Sven doing circuits of the Valley with the 🛷 to give rides to both the player and NPC's (with new conversations).
And (maybe) Kristoff and Sven (with a red nose!) dressing up as 🎅 to go for flying 🛷 rides, (if not every night) at least on December 24?
And also, I 🤔 maybe the purple ⛰/🌋 on the left-hand side is either that big block of purple on top of The Forgotten Lands ("space" seen but not charted) or, as someone already commented, unseen territory beyond the end of the river in Frosted Heights.
im excited for stitch, socks and snow all over the valley. i hope we can have a snowball fight
I'm seeing snow everywhere so possibly seasonal change all across the realms like in AC ? As far as the snowman would have been a great idea to bring Olaf with that update too.
I am so excited about all of this. It looks so cute and getting to finally hang out with Stitch along with Buzz and Woody will be amazing. Some new recipes or activities would be nice, maybe we can wrap gifts for the villagers or make hot cocoa
I hope in the future Lilo, Jumba, Pleakley, and Gantu will get to come to the game, also Nani or 625 if possible. They are all amazing characters that would be fun to interact with. Imagine how tall Gantu would be though
I’m excited by stitch but hopefully we don’t have to wait too long for him. We still haven’t gotten belle and she’s been used a lot on the Home Screen
The pet costume is so cute, I hope they fix the critters first I’ve got a lot of them but I’ve fed some of them hundreds of times now n still don’t have them

More than likely these Christmas outfits are just mostly aesthetic for some Christmas themed event along side the update to include Stitch, Woody, &Buzz.
more updates is always nice... I log on and collect things mostly right now... a few side quests but once I got pretty much every save ariel to level 10 friendship wasn't a lot to do
Maybe it's space mountain like at Disney. Maybe that's the mountain is for in forgotten lands?

I've been hoping they would add changeable costumes for the villagers I would love to choose what Ariel or Mickey Mouse is wearing

I think us posing with snowballs and woody and buzz with the snowman is just that.. posing with items we already have in game. Probably same for Merlin and the fire… unfortunately… would love if there was snowfall as a weather option too!

About the fox, I guess is going to be the new companion for the Star path of December, wich is going to be Xmas themed for sure.
And about Merlin and Mickey, well, maybe they are going to have a temporary change of clothing.

I think Stitch will be mainline, not realm. As for everything else I have 0 clue lol I can’t wait because I wasn’t the biggest fan of the scar update (aside from the star path of course - loved that!!!)

Just wish we were getting Nani, though I doubt we'll ever see her. Anyhow I'm glad that it at least looks like we are getting 3 characters here. I've been having the biggest debate on what path's I'm going to put Woody and Buzz on when they arrive. I'm like Woody is either a Digger (the most useless Path I think) or a Miner then there is Buzz who I feel should be a forager but I got way too many foragers now but I'm trying to pick the path that I feel most matches up to the characters even though I need more Gardeners then anything else right now. I felt like if we got Oolaf I'd make him a Gardener. Still Stitch will obviously be a digger, I'm leaning hard on Miner for Woody. If Jesse ever comes out she'll be a digger so I think Buzz should be a Digger along with her but I'm leaning towards the forager. None of them are Gardeners for me though.
Worth keeping in mind that the more villagers you have of a certain type, the more bonuses you get when you use any villager of that type. You get more crop bonuses if you have 3 farming villagers instead of 2, for example, regardless of who is following you.
For villagers you don’t care about or plan on hanging out with, the best thing you could do would be to make them the thing you like to do most, level them up, and then continue to use the characters you do like with the added bonus. That’s why some people have been only making their villagers farmers- to maximize the bonuses they’re getting as much as possible. If you find digging useless I’d avoid adding any more diggers.
Would you say the game is worth getting (On Switch), despite the various glitches that have been occuring? I know most of them will be fixed in time, but still, is it worth getting and playing right now?
The Star Paths and new characters are so neat! I'd love to play, but am worried it'll be a waste of money and storage space.

Since it would be on the 6th why didn't they just tell us straight to begin with would have made more sence as I know a few people who are disappointed because that's all the news they got today
So what really came on the 30th. Anything new in our values that we can do. Or is this an update that’s going to come on December 6. All the hype was that something was going to be given to us on November 30. I went to mine, and nothing was new. In fact, I didn’t even get a thing saying that there was an update.

The game it could have Just been something they wanted to Talk about Before December 6 since someone said the clue had something to do With lilo and stitch. And the toystory update is suppose to a bit bigger than the scar one
As best as I can tell so far, we might have to wait for the 6th to see any of these, but I'll be checking and rechecking a lot just in case!

As far as I know, it should take care of itself when it's time. I don't know when that will be, but at this point I'm guessing we may have to wait until Dec 6
