Very good. I just watched you in another video showing the American reporter around Blackpool and you was good in that with your knowledge of Blackpool. You friend the one pound burger was very funny. Well done.
Hi Stephen, I don't know if you have seen the following from the Blackpool Gazette. HM Coastguard helicopter lands in Blackpool after emergency incident on Morecambe Bay gas platform. The search and rescue helicopter touched down in Lawson’s Field, in the grounds off the Village Hotel, East Park Drive around 7am. HM Coastguard said it flew a man to shore after he fell ill on a gas installation off Morecambe Bay in the Irish Sea, 16 miles west of Blackpool. The crew were met by paramedics who transferred the man to Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
Just been on Flight Radar 24. At approx. 05:50 this morning, the helicopter took off from Caernarfon in North Wales went to a point in the Irish Sea, picked up someone and proceeded to Blackpool. It landed in Blackpool at around 07:10 and took off again 20 minutes later. If you type in 'coastguard helicopter bases' this will take you to a site that will let you know where their helicopter bases and control centres are based. Thanks for the vlog.
Thanks again Stephen for another on the spot vlog the right place at the right time I've posted a goodie bag for you to Higgits take care and i look forward to the next vlog

We have three of the Sikhorses to serve the coastline in Republic of Ireland. It's a Canadian company who has the contract.....
Nice one Stephen 👍
Thanks Martin 👍
I like how someone called the helicopter sikhorses instead of Sikorsky 😂
i thought it was a bit low Stephen, whilst i sat on the loo it was like 20ft above me house haha :)
Haha. It woke me up lol
To the man on the loo, if you couldn't I bet it helped(only old gits would understand this)
It is based in North Wales
Probably standing in for the regular air ambulance.
caernarfon airport n,wales.
👍👍💥💥💥💥👍👍
Looks like a Sikorsky S-92
@@Yanksing1 👍
Do they still do the pleasure helicopter flights from the end of the pier mate
Not since the jetty was destroyed.
What camera do you use. Thanks
For this I used a DJI Osmo Pocket 2, though I also have a mk3
North Wales
Do you think Prince William was flying that Sikorsky?
He might well have been a few years ago. I think he did do a few search & rescues over the Blackpool coastline in his time.
@@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool He only flew for the RAF rescue, unfortunately not for the Coastguard.
What was that guy all about waving you further back? I highly doubt you were in any danger that far away.
I was miles away & clearly no danger. They just like ordering people about.
