Have a 2013 Nissan Altima that has a problem with the mode selector. It exactly where yours is in your Pathfinder. When I get under there to look I can see everything turning when I hit the mode button. Its just almost like its out of alignment. It won't turn fully to put full to put the vents on completely, like it needs to turn another 5 degrees. Every other choice is off a little as well. I wonder if it just needs to be taken off and re-positioned. Going to mess with it one day, looks tough to get off though.
Is there a part number for this actuator? I’m pretty sure mine is going bad because it’ll stay the front vents but then air will go through the defrost vents causing it to fog when it rains and also on the feet when mode is on front vents only
Was heat coming from any of the working vents I have the same vehicle the dash vents don't work, floor and the defrost do blow air but not hot. I don't understand if the actuator is not working properly what does that have to do with the heat?
@@patrickmurphy8619 thanks for getting back at me, that's cool, I was going to change that part, but I think maybe the main door is stuck on shut, there us no heat coming out from any of the other two options. Thanks again
@@mandeasygreasy8591 well there's another thing if it has dual climate control. I believe there's an actuator on each side of the HVAC box down by the footwell
@@patrickmurphy8619 you are 100% correct it is a dual ill check that nxt, sir thank you! this is just mind boggling, the no heat part and the thermostat is not over heating, and I checked under the radiator cap it's full
Have a similar problem with my 2013 Altima. Only get half flow through the vents. My part looks exactly like the one in the video. And I can see it turning, it just doesn't turn that last 5 degrees that it needs to turn to get it fully blowing out the vents. I think I have to take it off and maybe reposition it a little bit. Have to wait till it gets cooler out and mess with it.
Have the same problem, just today it started only blowing cold air through the upper vent and floor, no matter if I change the mode. Rear and front vents, there is no AC coming out. I’m gonna try changing the HVAC Actuator.
My car is doing the same thing. I am having trouble trying to find the exact part that fits. I googled the part number and nothing is looking exactly exactly like the original… This is so frustrating. What part number is this… Nissan sold the blend actuator, which is not the correct part.

Thanks for your video. What is the part number and where can I buy the actuator?
Same issue with my Pathfinder 2017. I can see the actuator just like on your video, how do i remove the under dash panel like you did?
Tnx for your help

I believe mine was stuck on warm. I ordered the part I got to change it within this week for the customer so I could update whether the temp changes

Any update? My 2013 doesn't direct air through the dash vents (or only half power) when I cycle through the modes.
Part number? It looks like it might be 277523-C13

Same problem with my 2020 Nissan pathfinder started 3 days ago
I have same issues. Where did you buy the part?
