Thanks Joe. Be sure to check the video description, I will often leave notes like: this video was filmed in summer and does not reflect current conditions.
I fished once at Falcon Lake this summer and it was overrun with @$$hats on jetskis. Unsurprisingly not even a nibble. Went down the road to Lyons Lake and for about an hour would catch about 7 perch for every 10 casts, then it shuts off like a light and nothing bit for half an hour and I packed it in since I was headed up to Brereton Lake campground for the night where I had to have pork and beans for supper.
Little smallmouth and rock bass do grow! However with all the cottages around Falcon lake, there are also probably a lot of fishing that goes on there.
Thanks Richard. I have not thought about that. The lake does have a lot of fishing pressure. That just means we need to appreciate the fish we do get, so much more.
Wow Vernon, this is kind of a hard video to watch. But it’s like you said at least you didn’t get skunk. Just about time for you to get your winter gear out too isn’t it. OK take it easy bud. We’ll talk to you later on.😊
Thanks Ralph, we aren't always going to have good fishing trips, but that just live. Let's hope the fish are more eager in winter, under the ice. It's been hard to get any fish with the cooler water temps, so I am looking forward to Ice Fishing.
Stick to fishing for your favorite species, channel catfish!! You aren't a bass fisherman!? You gave up too easy. When you get frustrated, you start catching the little dinks.😂😂 Catfish are your favorite right 😭🤔? Great video Verno!! 👍
Hey Tim, I believe that to grow as a fisherman, we need to try different things. Figuring out how to get all sorts of fish in different places, it's hard to do. Rather ironically, you picked the one fish I don't like to catch. It will take a while to figure out how to get these fish consistently, till then, I appreciate the support.
Lovely clear water. Nice setting. The weather still looks okay. But yes, winter is coming. Hope you’ll still have a few great days ahead.

Beautiful Lake 👍. The little fish 🐟 will grow ... try again after the winter ...
Thanks Susan. Ironically, the fishing should be good in winter as the ice allows you to get too the deeper water.
Lovely little fish, I like the music in your videos. 💙🏞🎣
Thanks for watching!

Lol, we all know the feeling. Hoping for fish, ending up with pork and beans. Like they always say, it's called fishing not catching...

@@FinallyFishing The good news is that you caught young bass and rock bass, bodes well for the future.
