A great video and I'm happy to see my community, the Hamlet of Mt. Lorne's ice rink shown it. We are proud of our community centre and the outdoor facilities that it provides. It takes a lot of time and effort by our Lorne Mt. Community Association to keep this running. But it is important for people to understand that Hamlet of Mt. Lorne is not part of Whitehorse. The Hamlet of Mt. Lorne was created through an Order In Council, it has it's own Local Advisory Council, Fire Department, and community association and we have a strong sense of community.
Thanks for watching Al! Most of the people I connected with were from Whitehorse, so that's why I titled the episode the way it is. My goal is to come back to the area and focus an entire video on the rink and people around Mt Lorne because my experience filming and skating at the rink is something I'll never forget. I wasn't able to successfully connect with anyone from Mt Lorne before my trip, but I'll try again!
As someone from a little town in the north of England that's passionate about Hockey and documentary making, this is great. Thanks and keep up the good work. PS what camera are you using?
Check out part one of my Whitehorse experience here: th-cam.com/video/RAOZ1cTVIzU/w-d-xo.html
