Making $37K A Year Playing Dungeons & Dragons In Salt Lake City
Title correction "Living on 133k income in Salt Lake City" stop clickbaiting and lying
This is correct and Im a fan of Cnbc make it, but she is not living on 37K a year when she lives with her husband making what he makes.
You are now giving them extra engagement well done
The title says she is making $37k. This is correct
Omg - total clickbait!!!!
Exactly
Dude you guys need to stop lying on these titles 😂😂 This woman is not living on $37K a year, she’s married, count the ENTIRE household income just like the IRS does…
Exactly! And she also has a second job teaching one class per semester.
I was shocked because $37K isn’t enough to live in America 😮💨
These episodes are on par with the House hunter episodes where somehow they can afford a 1.8 million dollar house by being a professional Pokémon mascot.
I watched an episode with a professional dog walker who was buying a $700K house 😂😂😂like how. I van barely pay my bills and take care of myself on an average salary
This is misleading, her income is far more than what you guys posted on the video. Why lie?
How does a 40k downpayment on a 535k home at 2023 rates give you a mortgage of $2147? Are they not including taxes and insurance? The principle and interest alone should be at least 3k.
They are also paying PMI on that mortgage since they didn't put down 20%
@@beaniemac yep they are DELUSIONAL!!! AND I HOPE THEY READ THIS AND SAY THAT GUY IS SO MEAN. NO Y'all just keeping it 100....
i kinda got bored of people faking stuff on this show so i made my own. i talk to two people a week and we dont reveal anyones identity so you get a much more realistic thing where people arent trying to win you over all the time
She's solely relying on him for retirement since she won't get social security given her barely working. They borrowed down payment money to purchase their 500k home. And they sound like they might actually be house poor due to all their other debts.
She will get Social Security as she earns more than $1,730 a year: faq.ssa.gov/en-us/Topic/article/KA-02459
Clickbait. The title makes it seem like she’s literally living on $37k…but she combines her income with her husband and together they make six figures. They’re living off the six figure income.
It's still better than the I make $500k as an influencer videos
For real she’s chilling
The title implies nothing about household income. It is meant to highlight that being a DM can be profitable, not to comment on the livability of the income.
Click bait!!!!
Awesome she gets to do what she loves. Also awesome hubby has a great income to help make that possible. Her income alone would make that harder.
Yea idk why the title is living on 37K a year cause if they are combining finances then its not living on 37k a year
@@michaellaviola3125 right! I thought I was about to hear some good budgeting tips lol the tip is get a spouse that makes nearly 3 times that lol
@@Eveningbreeze721that’s it. Bingo. And don’t worry. You can get a graduate degree for no reason all to do something that could have been accomplished with a GED. Just make sure your spouse is bringing in decent money.
535k for that house and no front yard or upstairs 😳 3:28 seems pointless if you work from home and barely commute 🤔
She makes less than working full time minimum wage as a fast food worker in California... And Utah isn't cheap.
Mortgage: $2,147
Debt repayment: $2,450
What the...?
CNBC needs to chill with the clickbait. His income is what allows her the privilege to play games for a living 🤣
Shes not living on 37k
Shes living on the 90k her husband makes
and then spends money like crazy 1:40
Yeah that food budget... 😮 Maybe it includes eating out.
Food budget $1390, and discretionary is $832 with 50K in debt and they save $400mnth, which means more could be going to pay down that debt. Like just 50% each of those three things and you'd have about $1250 more a month to pay down debt which in a year is $15,000 extra on top of the $2450/mnth they already pay, they'd be out of debt in like 1.25 years.
My progressively louder cackle hearing low income, then credit card debt, then grad school debt, and the cherry being tithing. OMG 😂😂😂
Not my kind of job, interest or hobby but shout out to her for being able to make money off of something she loves to do and enjoy.
Crazy to see how someone pays 2500 on debt outside of mortgage.
2:25 tithing RIP THAT'S WHERE THE MONEY WAS GOING
Honestly props to them. Most MORMONS wouldn't DREAM of not paying tithing. Good on them for prioritizing credit card debt above that
Definitely a smart move
I was very surprised when I heard them stopping tithing. She is probably going to get attacked for that in Utah. That’s very unlikely of a Mormon or any hardcore Christian for that matter to not give tithes.
@@TheCreoleSon89 i think it's the best move possible. Utahian Mormons gotta stop judging each other and "who is more righteous"
@@pauljones9150 oh I agree. I’m a Christian too but come on. After you get out of debt, you can move that money back. But don’t drown trying to hold yourself to righteousness.
But they will judge trust me.
Yeah, they also don't have kids in their late 30s, so they do seem non-traditional in that way too. Can't imagine having to support kids even on their combined income
How is their mortgage on the 500k home only $2100/mo if they purchased in 2023 with $40k down???
They got a good rate they could of got a private loan
When I saw that house and its price tag I burst out laughing, the market is so Fd
They are the perfect example of a couple that had no business buying a home and did so anyways, also managing to overpay in the process. Typical middle class choice, further manipulating the over priced housing market as the cherry on top. They will be in debt for years to come.
It's not even an expensive house in Salt Lake 🥲 And because it's likely older, it costs more to maintain. I know from experience 💸💸💸
I mostly just feel bad for younger people, like what are they supposed to do 🙃
@@douglassmith9445I love this comment honestly,I’ll make sure I make better choices to not add to the problem
She's built an interesting model for herself and grow her business. All the best!
Is it normal for phone plans to be that expensive in America? Seems like a cray price! I only pay €20 a month and you can get cheaper plans
They're probably paying for their phones in installments, with two phones that could be $30 per phone plus another $40 per line for the plan. Most phones bought through carriers are like that now, unless you pay the full amount upfront for the phone
@@har795 That makes sense! People do that here too. It generally works put more expensive though so I don't
You can get a phone plan for less than 35 but Americans hate prepaid phones. Phones are a status symbol I guess.
I pay about $43 a month because I buy my phones in cash from Apple directly, so I don't have a "contact" with the phone company (which locks people in at a high price). I'm just paying for the phone service plus taxes.
Don’t listen to this girl folks. This type of “job” is not a viable option UNLESS you marry rich. She would be in poverty without the husband.
You missed the point of the video. She makes 37k off of dungeons and dragons. The title doesn’t saying “living off of 37k.”
on ep.22 i spoke to a therapist who uses D&D as a platform to work with people soooo
This is a rubbish video.. she lives on dual incomes not on 37k
Your comment is rubbish. The title says she makes 37k, not that she lives off of it. You’ll be ok still. Promise
CNBC make it, I'm a huge fan of this series, however it is disingenuous to lead with this title when their TRUE household income is 133K. We still would have clicked to watch. Respectfully of course.
I'm favoured, Getting my own Truck has always been my Dream for my business. I just acquired 2 recently, earning $32K weekly has been really helpful. I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support Charity Organizations. I really appreciate your videos
I'm favoured, $270K every 4weeks! | can now afford anything and also support God's work and the church.
As a beginner what do I need to do? How can I invest, on which platform? If you know any please share.
The very first time we tried, we invested $1000 and after a week, we received $7500. That really helps us a lot to pay up our bills.
Still regret that I sold my bitcoin early last year, even after my colleague insisted we shouldn't. Please Is Bitcoin still a safe buy to outperform the market this year? I still kept my money in the money market and with over $120k maturing soon, I plan investing well in it. Here for ideas

i love how niche this profession is
This is awesome!
Giving 10% of your income to a church is wild
This is like saying believing in god is wild.
@@douglassmith9445 what's your point it is wild
The video is an inspiring showcase of turning a passion for gaming into a successful career in Salt Lake City, truly a dream come true for many Dungeons & Dragons enthusiasts! Speaking of great music, I'm confident that my channel hosts the premier music generator available. You're welcome to experience its capabilities for yourself.
for the twenty second episode of my show i spoke to someone who uses D and D to do therapy for folks. it's not my world at all like most of my guests but such an interesting interview
Your explanations are clear and straight forward It's always a honor to have you here as a mentor, I appreciate you for the time being spent to educate us financially. Regardless of how bad it gets the economy, I still makeover $28K every single week. I truly value Gianna Everett, and her helpful guides
The key to financial stability is having the right investment suggestions for a diverse portfolio. Many investment failures and losses happen when you invest without proper guidance.
Getting Gianna Everett to help me really helped me clear all my debits. I started with what I have left and it's been the best decision I ever made
Low income people are suffering to survive, I appreciate her she's a great personality in the state, imagine receiving $4,250 in few days. Am from the NYC, sincerely your beginners strategy analysis has helped a lot family break out from poverty
Making money is all about investing in the right way most investment failures and losses usually happen when you invest without a proper guide
I'm favoured, $26K every week! I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support homeless and folk's with disabilities all thanks to Expert
Neat hobby but lets be honest without her husbands income it wouldn't be as glamorous. Still really cool to monetize it and eventually it might become something larger. I do see tabletop games becoming larger over time and shes getting ahead of that with the luxury of her situation.
Not hating but the only reason shes able to work this job is because the husband earns more and pays the bills. It would be tough paying rent and other expenses on that tiny salary
I wonder how dungeon mastering / tabletop gaming is a career, it seems more like a job because there is a very low ceiling, I wonder where the growth is
My husband loves that Game!!
smh clickbait
Bitcoin is on its way to breaking records, getting closer to hitting new high prices, showing that it's gaining more value and could go even higher than we've seen before. This could mean great things for people looking to invest, suggesting now might be a good time to get involved before it jumps even higher. It's an exciting moment that could change the game in general...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.1Blitcoin to a decent 11.4Biitcoin. At the heart of this evolution is Samantha Jack , whose deep understanding of both cryptocurrency and traditional trading has been instrumental. Her holistic approach to investment and commitment to staying abreast of market trends make her an invaluable ally in navigating this new era in cryptocurrency investment
Samantha's analyses go beyond surface-level trends. She delves into technical, fundamental, and sentiment analysis, providing a holistic view of the market..
Samantha Jack's strategy has normalized winning trades for me and it's a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started.

Good for her. If she and her spouse are happy - all that matters.
Don’t make a kid because it costs like $100,000 dollars from 0 to 18 years
F*cking click bait!!!! She lives on more....!
all our titles are direct quotes from guests
I feel cnbc is just finding the weirdest people
They seem quite normal actually. Well except for the Mormon bit. Lol
Lol 💯
They’re bad with money oof
No need for click bait if the content is good. Guess the creators don't believe in their content without click bait titles.
we use direct quotes from our guests for the episode titles and we keep them anonymous so people are really telling you the truth
Next video will be a house husband in Maryland that sells Lizard Eggs for 20K a year while his rich wife makes 100K as a Creative Director
awesome
the title is big click bait, she lives off her husband's salary and this weird hobby
When the recession hits 'jobs' like this will go away
You really can make money off anything😂😂😂
we prove that twice a week!
dream job
A women who likes D&D, that's a keeper.
Hope that lady realizes the risk she is taking assuming her husband’s finances are HER finances. I have seen too many women left high & dry in later life. Don’t risk if, Ladies. It’s great to be married - but half the time it doesn’t work out. Don’t rely on someone else for your financial future.🤷🏻♀️
Oh she won at life. Big time.
They really are living in a fantasy land 😅
Earning $37K/year after attending graduate school living in Salt Lake City, UT is crazy. Please don't go to college to major in your passion if it isn't easily marketable. Get into STEM.
Thank you Lord Jesus for the gift of life and blessings to me and my family $14,120.47 weekly profit Our lord Jesus have lifted up my Life!!!🙏❤️❤️
I'm 37 and have been looking for ways to be successful, please how??
Sure, the investment-advisor that guides me is..
Mrs Kathy lien
😱Sounds familiar, I have heard her name on several occasions.. and both her success stories in the wall Street journal!
Her services is the best, I got a brand new Lambo last week and paid off my mortgage loan thanks to her wonderful services!
To Mari and Scott,
Y’all seem like lovely people, but your finances have me CONCERNED. I want you both to win with money and be able to accomplish all of your dreams (pay off debt, afford to have kids), but with the way your finances are currently, I don’t know how that will be possible for a very long time. PLEASE go to a financial advisor for help or reach out to me for free if that’s what’s stopping you! (I’m not an expert by any means.). Thank you for listening and best of luck!
I thought it was interesting to see Mormons play D&D and even make a living out of it.
Gotta pay debt down before the fake church !!
Not a church its a fake temple
whta id they divorce? he has retirement plan and her?
Without Scott she had to get a real job. Thanks, SCOTT.
Literally
Lmaoooooooooo😂thanks Scott is crazy to say but so factual. She plays with dice and has all this debt 🥴 if she doesn’t stop being a dead weight. He needs some paddling. She needs to wake up.
@@TheCreoleSon89 I think this vid should focus on Scott. My name is Scott and I support my wife's hobby while she pretends to contribute.
@@FluffyNuggets369 exactly. Scott should be saying something! She is acting like playing games are enough! It’s time to get employed and fight off some of this credit card debt! This is not the time for games.
This is just the traditional dynamic with a lot of Mormon men and women... Granted usually there's a mess of kids too
7:27 sadly hardcore Mormons don't hold the same opinion that DND isn't the devil's work
$1390 on food & $400 savings…WHAT?????!!! This is crazy!!! She also needs to skip some meals & hit the gym!!!
click baiiit
why is she not acknowledging that she can only do this because of her husband? It’s kind of egoism. She is contributing zero and is only taking.
What a dumb and misleading title. Won't be searching for any more Make It videos.
i kinda got bored of the way this show works so i made my own
