Jesus, I think I've been going too far down the rabbit hole, I swear I thought you were gonna say, "I've taught hundreds of students across multiple universes" xD
Michael Turner is an amazing artist, and a huge influence on my style. So thanks for that! And thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed the video. :) -Clayton
I've had the same problem as you, and Photoshop i just not good for lineart imo. I tried other programs, like Manga Studio(the one he's using) and Paint Tool Sai, and they are 1000 times easier and better than PS. I can produce good lineart in Sai with my 10+ years old Wacom Graphire 4 running on 2 drives(orginal drive can't run on Win10 lol), that's how good it is.
I have pixelated lines left by inking brushes in Clip Studio. I tried to use strong anti-aliasing, but it doesn't solve the problem completely. The thing is when I zoom in, lines appear to be smooth, and when I zoom out they appear to be pixelated/jagged. I tried working with 600 dpi and 300 dpi, but it doesn't influence it that much. I've been digging for the solution to this problem for a long time, but I haven't succeed. Please, help me, if you've faced such kind of problem. Is it worth it to try to cope with this effect, or it's something I shouldn't be concerned about to much?
Are you working with a canvas big enough?, probably a bigger canvas like 3840 x 2160 pixels could help you, normally when I work with small pages the pixelated lines happens, that's why I prefer big pages to draw on any software.

Yeah, her right leg really bothers me. It looks like it's connected to her stomach _above_ the hip. I may get DAZ out and try to replicate this pose. All that being said, Jack Kirby did all sorts of crazy stuff and it never stopped *_him!_*
Your videos are literally the best comics tutorials ive seen. It would be so great if you uploaded more
Thanks a lot. I appreciate the kind words! I'll do my best to keep these coming on a regular basis ;)
reminds me of the great Michael Turner(RIP) style, love it man!
14:00 But how do you know where to put the shadows?
Edit: You can use ArtPose for guidance

@@jocrek I used to work with a small one, but recently I've tried to work with 3800x4900. It decreased this effect, but sometimes it's still visible
will you ever make a video on rendering?
May I ask what input device for drawing digitally you're using?
what software and tools, please?
Manga studio 5 (now Clip Studio Paint)
AMAZING!!!!, which photoshop brushes did you use?

You know these Aussies! They pronounce "urine" as "YER-ayen."
Whos cooks a cake? Guy needs a better vocabulary.
