Your video was a great help in getting into the selector module. Before I decided to buy are replacement part, I was able to reach into the mechanical tracks and applied vaseline. Then I sprayed the pivot point with sythetic grease (Mobile 1). I then sprayed the center of the white plastic cover with electronic cleaner. So far, it is working great. I need to see if this work around holds when the temp gets down to freezing. Thank you.

    Thanks for the video.
I have a 2009 Honda Pilot and now know what to replace.
The front center vents do not blow any air. All other vents are working except front center vents. Thanks 👍

If you want to want to wait until you buy one and keep it on one mode. You can open it and move it with your finger to the mode you want.

So does this replacement fix the crv issue or just put it off to need to be replaced again?

Yeah the aftermarket part is under $60 bucks, but no metal frame or guide track. That aside the fix is not what I would call easy working under your dash. In fact it's a pain in the neck. Be patient and you can accomplish it as the video explains. That said, changing to floor and defrost and cabin still may not necessarily be your problem. The Climate Control Panel may also be bad on the front. Blows air, adjusts temperature, buttons change on front, but not moving the Actuator. This is much easier to fix and you can buy a Tested/Used one from cheaply for getting the Climate Control back in business. All said and done on my 2010, it cost me under a couple hundred but I saved huge since the Honda Dealership wanted $1600 with 2 hours labor.
