Great video - I have a mature Bissell 8910 that wouldn't spray water. Disassembly was slightly different but your video provided the solution. The heater internals were severely clogged and your hint to check the hose connectors to ensure they weren't clogged was valuable as they were also clogged. Good as new again. BIG Thanks.
hi, i have a model 9300b that has suction but won't spray from either the floor or the hose. i can't find any videos for that issue. it's either one or the other. any idea what the problem might be?
We have a Bissell model 1840 proheat. We followed the video. The part where you show the heater is not there on ours. It appears to be under the yellow part by where the water tank sits. How do we get under that? It looks to be between the water tank and the brush. We are 2 older ladies and would really appreciate your help I'm guessing we come back here to look for your response? Thanks
Thanks for the video. The radiator was clogged on my machine. cleaned out the heater and the inlets/outlets. Still not spraying. time for a new cleaner.
I have the exact model in your video. The problem with mine is when i first turn it on it sprays like normal, then after 2-3 seconds it turns to a dribble then stops coming out. If i turn it off and back on it repeats that process. I tried cleaning the heating unit with no success. Any ideas?
Sure sounds like a clogged heater to me. Once I thought I cleared a clogged heater and it wouldn’t work so I double checked it to find I missed the clog in the inlets of the heater. If it were my repair I would just do it over again to make sure I didn’t miss anything.
It looked like it is scale built-up. Was it hard/crunchy or soft build-up. I'm wondering and if vinegar in is in the clean water mixture that it could also possibly prevent it. Thanks for the video. I'm working on my little green machine that was clogged up.
Hey, thanks for your content. Had an older model followed the video. It was a bit conked up in the heater unit, cleaned that out nozzles were also clogged. Put it all back together now the water will not stop spraying. Is there anything I can attempt to do? Besides purchase a new one
was wondering where the heater was on mine; I am having this exact issue, which means it is likely exactly this issue, but i had no idea where that heater was...probably going to save me a few bucks here.
look like dirty machine. has it ever been taken apart and clean. I have bissell and I clean it up after I use it. you got maintance to it. and keep it running.

Advice is never to add vinegar as it can cause pump issues
this video was very helpful and was exactly the problem with my Bissell carpet cleaner. Thank you..
Thank you!!! Fixed my Bissell ProHeat Pet up nicely.
Mine was a plugged up heater too. Spent hours taking everything apart - wish I would have gone straight to the heater first.
FYI - if you have the BISSELL Pro Heat Pet Turbo ( model 1799V), this tutorial does not apply for you. Just found that out the hard way.
Thank you! Worked in 2024!!!!

Probably a clogged heater. That’s a long video. I’ve contemplated recording one but just haven’t done it yet.

You have a 2x model it sounds like. Totally different set of instructions. One of these days I’ll record one. It’s tricky though.

At least you tried!

I have the exact same problem!😢
Thanks much appreciated, had the same issue today with mine. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Not quite sure. Only thought is perhaps the valve is stuck open
So when I go to rinse mode soapy water comes out the bottom of machine will fix my problem.
I don’t understand what you’re asking.

Hi I have same machine, mine sprays the water but doesn’t dry
How do I fix it? Thank you 🙏
Not sure. It could be many different causes. Check your filter screen. Red plastic screen looking part inside your recovery tank.
Bissell
Yes
If you don't clean me I won't work!
too confusing design
My explanation or the design of the machine?

I’m not sure. I’ve never run into this sort of issue.
