    I want to thank you Wayne for explaining the filter (small red box) fixture inside the tank! The door is now OPEN and we have suction😅. The pro heat 2x pet machine my boyfriend purchased from my landlord was almost brand new. It is in pristine condition, but my landlord no longer uses the machine. My boyfriend had a great news as his rental house needed a good cleaning. We were perplexed when the ma nine first started working and then quit suctioning! Talk about frustration! We started researching TH-cam and your helpful video tremendously helped! THANK YOU! MANY BLESSINGS to you!

    OMG!!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!! I almost went out and bought a new Bissell. I am generally not to bad with fixing my own stuff if I run into a problem. I had the first unit that you were demonstrating and I knew about the filter in the water container getting clogged but I did not realize it was also the the pro2x because it is somewhat hidden compared to the other unit. Well that did the trick. Now going back to suck up 4 ci=ontainers of water that did not get sucked up! Thank you again so much!!!! I am definitely a subscriber now!!!

    You helped so much! Thank you, my carpet cleaner is working much, much better. The one thing I did notice, the red filter turn nob on the stationary part of the cleaner, underneath the tank, that was turned to unlock. So, I went through everything you said and cleaned out the liter read filter in the tank, turned the big red button to lock, and voila! Working like it should. You a fabulous trainer! Thank you again!

    Hi Wayne…
    I’m having another issue with my Bissell Pro Heat 2x.
    No suction on floor mode.
    I did check the black square and theres plenty of suction. I also remove the red lint saver. Still nothing.
    I did open the piece where the water jets are bc I was not getting any water. Not sure if its possible that I disconnected a hose bc the top suction is great
    So I thought I would ask for help again before the shampooer meets the curb
    Thank You

      @wutUthinkinBro check the nozzle on the front- if you have suction at the duct ( closest to the motor) then work your way to the front check for gaps and clogs along the way

    Ah man, how sneaky of these companies to keep using the same name to a vacuum that looks totally different. Looking for the Bissell Deep Clean Pro Heat 2X professional pet similar issue loss of suction. It was just working and then nothing, I checked the basics and don't see any debris or flap issues but am having issues identifying the suction flow from under the tank, I feel a pull of air only under the small red screen but not really anywhere else, there is some air/heat blowing out up closer to the roller bars (heat dry feature maybe) Do you happen to have this unit by you to help walk me thru this or maybe already have a video with it? Thanks in advance : )

    Excellent video thank you very much! I used the troubleshooting suggestions and partly resolved my problem. After cleaning the little filter (close to the float) in the collection tank I thought it would resolve the second part of my problem... which is no suction at the floor piece. When I move the selector dial to the hand attachment - suction is strong suction. When I switch back to floor I am getting no suction from the floor piece. I tested the selector dial to make sure it was working (making sure it was diverting correctly) and it does work as expected. Gaskets between collector and floor seems good - I did the tissue test you suggested and didn't get any results for a leak. Simply = when its on the floor setting I have no suction - any suggestions on what else to check?

    • @kc23s
      @kc23s 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Update since I posted - hairline crack right along vertical side of the floor nozzle. Because I was testing at the bottom where you would expect suction I didn't notice the crack immediately. Going to replace the part and check again!

    I know I am a little late on this video but I just want to say, Awesome Video! I did everything you said here and I cleaned everything out and even used an air duster on the bottom of the Bissell Pro Heat 2x (Model 9200) and when I turn it on without the tank the suction is VERY STRONG and the hose works fine but when I turn the dial to "Floor Cleaning" it has some suction on the bottom so I am thinking it's probably the trigger on the handle. Do you think I should open up the top part of the vacuum to check the trigger part? Please any info you can give me I will appreciate and I am in no rush.

    • @monroevacs
      @monroevacs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the problem is suction you won’t need to focus on the trigger. The tank, the lid and the window nozzle is where your focus should be. Check those for either leakage or clog

    If the machine is making suction but it's not sucking up the water properly, do you think it could be from the plastic piece on the front having the corner broken off? I'm talking about where the plastic piece curves up, maybe to make a Tight Seal to the carpet?

    • @monroevacs
      @monroevacs  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If its the front lip the curve up....no.. that won't stop the suction at least it shouldn't. I would have to see it to be absolutely certain. But you are right in thinking that the problem lies in that area. Check the source of the suction. There is a screen..make sure its clear of lint and try reconnecting the nozzle.

    Hey thanks for these videos much appreciated! My brand new bissel “turbo clean powerbrushPet” shampooer, which I have only used for about a half an hour, starting to give a high pitch squeal and then I could smell smoke/burning smell coming from the unit. Very strange that a brand new unit would possibly burn the brushes(motor brushes not vacuum brushes) so quickly and cause it to squeal and burn up. The unit works but I can feel if I push it much more I’m going to fry it completely... any thoughts sir?
    Many thanks,

      Hi Robert, sound like a motor/electrical issue. I recommend calling bissell. They will first troubleshoot over the phone, then recommend a local authorized shop. If none is in your area then they will work something out with you. Possibly send out a replacement,.that is if its still under warranty. Hope thats helps

    • @monroevacs
      @monroevacs  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the motor has suction the the next step is the tank. Try taking the nozzle off. Remove the screw that hold the main nozzle to the base and remove the nozzle. Then put the tank back on the unit. Turn the machine on to check if the suction is reaching the section where the nozzle should connect. Use a paper or plastic to test suction. If good suction then the problem is the nozzle if not then look to the tank. Keep me posted

    • @monroevacs
      @monroevacs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for delayed response-Model 25A3 - diagnostic can start at the motor. Take off the tank turn on the unit and check the suction at the opening . Then check your tank for crack or the lid to make sure it closes properly. Next put the tank on but remove the front nozzle window and check the opening that joins / connects to the window. If all those check out and has suction that the next step is a put the window back and check to see if it will suck up water, if not replace the window. How that helps

    Wayne .., I have a " Bissell Deep Clean Deluxe PET " with the solution bag inside the container while the container itself collects the sucked-up solution. But theirs NO dirty water being sucked in the container. Where's it going .., what's happening ❓❓❓

    • @monroevacs
      @monroevacs  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting David. My first question - is the carpet still wet long after shampooing. Also when you are sucking up the water, you should see water shooting up the clear nozzle. If not..then the true question is: is it sucking up the water at all. You may have a suction issue. A seal. A crack or a clog. Do a little experiment and let me know. Check the carpet after you shampoo and check the nozzle while shampooing.

    • @trumpmypresident4721

    • @monroevacs
      @monroevacs  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Foam? Bissell solution don’t produce a lot of foam. They’re extraction machines so they use foam less solution. Are you using detergent or dry foam solution? Bissell and Hoover should use foam-less solutions. Double check your solution

      @@trumpmypresident4721 ok, That is odd, so lets then focus on the suction then. The water is either going into the container or its in the carper. For the sake of ruling out mysterious happenings we would assume one or the other. Trust if the water was being redirected elsewhere, you would know. You'd find spills or your motor would seize up. try shampooing with just water (no solution) and do a spot check. check the nozzle while trying to pick up the water and check the carper for excess water. we can start there.
