I could not believe that Covid has taken away another one of my icons in the same year. I feel honoured to have grown up with such a comedy legend amongst many. He will live on in the hearts of his fans.

Lovely tribute to a truly funny, gentle, man. You will be missed. I am glad the “I’m a teapot!” was mentioned as, for me, that always springs to mind. Fortunately we have videos and recordings to remember all those happy moments. Thank you for the laughs Tim. RIP.

There was so much going on during that whole covid mess , hearing that it took Tim from us really pissed me off, he was one of the greats of the great British era of comedy.

A beautiful man who made me laugh, who taught me how to laugh. ❤️🌹
From the 70’s watching the Goodies here on the CBC (we were lucky, they played the Goodies every weekday for a few years at 5pm, they ran the sprockets off them!) to listening to him on ISIHAC. And now I’m discovering “Hello, Cheeky” also. I treasure him.
So how about naming a station for him? Timbo station sends you automatically to Mornington Crescent! ☺️

How fitting that this wonderful tribute was produced by John Naismith. I was Tim will be very sorely missed both by those who knew him personally and by those like myself, one of those whose life has been brighter for his wonderful humour.

The one thing is that I didn't get to hear him much on this side of the pond, if at all. He was a wonderful performer and is sorely missed. I managed to get a collection of ISIHAC and listen to one a night. He was and always will be brilliant. God rest him.

Thank you for uploading. I could only listen to this one time when it was first broadcast on BBC Radio 4. And listening to this upload, I had to stop halfway through and return later in the day. Very saddening, yet a joyful tribute at the same time.

I know you're supposed to only praise and eulogise a person in these circumstances and goodness knows TBT deserves lots of praise for his very successful career. I remember once seeing or hearing an interview with him, however, and something he said stuck in my mind. He said he could've or even should've been part of Monty Python. And I immediately thought "No way." And he also sounded slightly resentful or bitter at the world-wide attention and acclaim achieved by Python. Maybe it was only a temporary touch of aggrieved ego, but it's one thing I remember about him. Everything else is fairly positive.

A lovely tribute, sadly spoilt by the endless ego that is Bill Oddie.
