- Labour MP Tan Dhesi says pensioners will be thousands of pounds better off under his party's government, "Labour committed in its manifesto to a triple lock on pensions. That's exactly what we will be doing."
He also told Jeremy Kyle that Labour had done more in 14 weeks than the Conservatives achieved in the last 14 years.
When questioned whether nurses would end up receiving the same 22% pay rise as doctors, Dhesi said the matter was 'above his pay grade'.

No. They will have about £1000 more pension, but they will not be better off. They will get the extra under the TORIES triple lock, NOT because of Labour. And even if inflation is kept down to the 2% target they will only be about £300 better off after 4 years, and they are losing £300 NOW. So the BEST they can hope for is to hold level.

The National Debt has increased by severl billion since Labour came to power, debt is now 100% of GDP, the highest level ever. The 22 Billion debt has been created partially by Labour's caving into the excessive demands of their Union Paymasters. Pensioners will not be hundreds or thousands of pounds better off because the triple lock will not cover the 10% increase in energy prices, the anticipated huge increase in Council tax, increase in fuel tax and thus the huge increase in every item on the shop shelves. Never mind dozens of other taxes they are going to yank up. Labour consider pensioners are easy meat when it comes to punishments since they can't fight back. Labour are lying cowards.
And it will end exactly how the last labour government folded no money left and the country left with mass unemployment labour need to be voted out next term or I think another 2008 financial crisis might be on the way

The threshold for Pension Credit is approx' £11500 per year. I would like to see MP's be barred from claiming any expenses if they earn more than the pension Credit theshold.
My dad worked all his life, worked crappy jobs, and saved every spare penny. They haven't been on holiday for years, and their holidays were alway in this country in a rented caravan, they have never been abroad. They have gone without all their lives and saved for their future and their retirement. They have voted Labour all their lives, and he now struggles when he thinks he should have just blown all his money and enjoyed his life and basically be nothing more than a leach on benifits. They have vowed never to vote labour again, they are going to spend what little savings they have got so they can be benefit bums and have the state shell out a fortune on them, and why shouldn't they?, their reward for doing the right thing is to freeze while they see illigal immigrants warm living a free life in hotels with benifits they can only dream of, such as seeing doctors and dentists immediately, somthing they are denied.

The benefits community will still get their payments tax free so no reduction in free money for them.
