I think part of it may be because in the studio version he was doing all the instruments, I think, and he also used drum machines for the drum tracks. Not 100% so don't quote me on that.
i was sure the screams were performed by the blonde one. I was really surprised when the cam showed this guy screaming his ass off :D but he really is great
The singer's passion is amazing, the background singers are awesome as well (the one guy's screams were intense), the bassist and drummer are just incredibly precise in their playing and ... I don't know, overall it's just such a solid piece of great music, I don't even know what to say anymore.
this was a group that Cory Taylor recommended during a recent interview with loudwire and I've gotta say I'm loving this group, I'm looking forward to listening to more of their work.
you will burn in hell for this answer. Do not forget to tell us all, exactly, where hell is located, so we can all meet and have a laugh in the same place.
I'm sitting here right now working on Broken Saints: Miami Charter, a Sons of Anarchy/Mayans literary spinoff. And I gotta say: this song inspires me to keep writing. 👍
This song always makes me cry. Not because of how great it is but the subject matter as you have no one else to turn to but yourself and you need to find strength elsewhere to survive.
for me is like...is backwards of what God do...when i believed they told me that God had "the perfect plan" for my life...i was basicly suffering a lot in that time and i was kinda like: so your perfect plan is my pain?! Devil gets you total Freedom...but you gotta accept all the terms, then its all up to you...i think... i always turn my head to the sides and see nobody with me...is painful, but then i see a couple fighting over a like on Facebook, one cheating on other with the best friend or ex, one breaking up with other for more money or sexual satisfaction....and then i accept my current loneliness as a gift...but can be a good and painful gift at the same time
This is a really amazing performance, especially considering it was one of the first times the full band played together live. Can't wait for the full album!
FUCKING HELL THIS IS FANTASTIC. IVE LISTENED THE ALBUM LIKE 40 TIMES YESTERDAY AND NOW I SAW THEM PEOPLE FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! absolutely mesmerising. love it. love it so much i gotta go the the Great Escape Festival in Brighton to see only this band. hell yeah the Devil is kind.
Best new discovery in a long time! Really like all songs so far, and the backing vocals here are great, I don't agree with the complaints at all! Ordered the CD as soon as I found it.
Great song and powerful perfomance... Loved the last part (2:20) with the screamed background vocals, so much energy! In the beginning the background vocals didn't really work imo. They should tone them down a little or sing a bit softer maybe. That way they'd have more dynamic. But who am I to say that, they know exactly what they're doing :) And after a few shows together they will sound even more amazing! Can't wait to see them live sometime..
The screams of the right backup singer really add depth to this, even though it's a mistake, they should incorporate that into all their live performances
I actually prefer this over the studio version, sounds much more emotional
I like it a lot, except for the prominence of the one background singer in the mix. I feel like he's all I can hear in my left ear.
Maximilián Szlávik
I CANT AGREE MORE
In studio version he sings a bit higher note but yes this is emotional and its nice to finaly see how they look :)
I think part of it may be because in the studio version he was doing all the instruments, I think, and he also used drum machines for the drum tracks. Not 100% so don't quote me on that.
yes, i cried on this version, not on the studio version, so youre right
like the back up screamer good enthusiasm
His hair cut is stupid lol
Let's be honest, that's a backup screamer with GREAT enthusiasm.
@@LowNSlowIII to be honest all their hair cuts are stupid lol
regardless of his stupid haircut, he's an amazing singer with incredible enthusiasm.
He reminds me of Andy Samberg from The Lonely Island :D
The bass player has a Swans t-shirt. That's a seal of quality.
was about to post the Swans comment, thank you
Mia.
She knows what’s up
So amazing. The dude screaming is god.
i was sure the screams were performed by the blonde one. I was really surprised when the cam showed this guy screaming his ass off :D but he really is great
Not God that was the devil
loved the backing vocals on this one, that guy screamed his soul out!
I don’t think the back ground dudes sound good at all
@@reginalddurant7854I think they sound amazing
Dude screaming dug from his soul to scream like that. Beautiful performance
This band needs to get more recognition like Sleep Token
As a fan of both, yeah, this 100%
recognition for stealing black slave and chain gang music huh
THE DEVIL IS FIIIIIIIIIIIIINEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! That scream tho!
Dude screaming held tone so well during the screaming. Impressive

Why tf am I attracted to this more than the studio version
YASH SINGH because everything sounds better live. especially when it's from zeal and ardor :)
ComaLies225 agreed!
Cuz that sick backup scream
this was a group that Cory Taylor recommended during a recent interview with loudwire and I've gotta say I'm loving this group, I'm looking forward to listening to more of their work.
God this is so fucking great.
Thanks for showing me it :D
you will burn in hell for this answer. Do not forget to tell us all, exactly, where hell is located, so we can all meet and have a laugh in the same place.
Don't worry, bud, we'll be fine. Devil is kind.
God...lol

@@ericvalverderosado2046 I prefer loneliness irl than being social because then I don’t have to suffer the sadness of someone breaking up with me
Remember, Devil is kind.

I watch this several times a day. Who's with me?
It's December in 2020 and I just was told about them and I've had this song on loop for a while now. Absolutely love it!!!
that bassist smile *melts*
backing vocals are amazing :)
I think they're pretty underwhelming
IMO, they are ruining everything. Too weak in comparison with album version.
Bear in mind this was their 3rd or 4th live show... EVER.
I actually think they're rubbish. The rest is great though.
I like it and think it suits the song very well. They did good.
This devil guy sounds pretty great!
Very
The song. The screamer. The message. Mann… the feels
These guys deserve all RESPECTS!
That was cool. Totally in love with Z&A.

The guy with the black hair makes it for me at the end i wish it was like that on the studio song
Saw them live couple days ago. Hands down, they make music that is meant to be played live. Great musicians
The Backing Screamer is so damn good I LOVE IT!!
I'm so happy this exists
The bassline and guitar noodling at the end sounded amazing
It is beatiful, the scream makes me cry a lot.
think i'm in love with bass player
great performance, hope to catch'em live
She's wearing a Swans T-shirt!
that three stooges looking dude knows how to show emotion in this song for sure. 💪🔥
This band is needed right now. How refreshing!
Best new discovery in a long time! Really like all songs so far, and the backing vocals here are great, I don't agree with the complaints at all! Ordered the CD as soon as I found it.
Man that drummer is fucking rad. The backup screaming dude is pooring his soul into it. Dude everyone in this is fucking rad.
SUBLIME!
Been listening to this for years, still as amazing as the first time I heard it🖤

Pascal I 100% agree with you, from 2:20 until the end there's so much energy and it sounds so much better with the screaming background vocals
The bass player in the Swans shirt is something else.
