- Short video of a nice ride out on the Sportster in France, about 35 miles north of Le Mans, finishing off at a Burger King as it was Sunday and most places were shut ,but I will say that the French cook a better BK .
I love the French roads but you do have to be careful and mindful of the Radar traps that they set up because Radar detectors are illegal in France. If you are caught with one you risk fines of up to €1,500. Satnav and GPS systems which show where speed cameras are located are also illegal so make sure this function is disabled or removed completely from your device. Most of the roads I was using were about 90 KPH and the odd dual carriageway was about 110 KPH which was fast enough for me on this Sunny Sunday afternoon.
What I enjoy about the French roads is that they are so quiet compared to the UK roads , its far more relaxed over here.
